Absolute myth. It was a coincidence.
What has Rafa's rant got to do with Lucas giving away a ridiculous penalty in the last 10 minutes away at Wigan when we were 1-0 up and cruising? Also the rant didn't make Yossi give away a completely needless free kick and skrtel lose his man for Cahill's equaliser against Everton.
It was blown out of all proportion by the media and it's laughable. It wasn't even a rant ffs. Fergusons pop at Rafa last week was a rant. His veins were almost popping out of his head but becuse it's Fergie it's merely "mind games".
Correct.
The ill-advised rant (albeit silly) had nothing to do with our losing the season...and yes, to all intents and purposes Liverpool are not going to win league (bar a Utd fuck up).
Liverpool squandered a premiership lead and the potential to break free and clear, because the tactics employed were far too cautious and in the end, negative. Coupled with some dodgy decisions by Benitez and a truly redundant and generally ineffectual substitution policy...that is what has cost us the league.
I've no doubt that if we had switched to the attacking football we've been playing for the last few weeks, we'd have probably won the damn thing by now, or at least be sitting a few points clear.
our ability to gain points after going behind (11games, 22pts) and the number of points gained from games where we're drawing at HT(19 games, 39pts) suggests that our subs, or tactical changes (plus our fitness i imagine) are highly effectual
It's the starting line ups thatit all up
Eh, no it doesn't. Taking Robbie Keane off with a half hour to go and subbing Babel for Riera has done fuck all for Liverpool in terms of winning games...or coming back from a goal down.
so someone shows you stats that prove we have come from behind many times to win games and also turned half time draws into wins and you still deny it ? the prrof is there - how many times have we won games late on after half time and after changes have been made ? bloody plenty .
Stop talking
GYBS.Rafa's sub policy has done nothing this year.
Bringing on Ryan Babel for Albert Riera on 60 minutes has won us matches?
Bollox.

is that from last sunday ?
