You're obviously a true fan mate, and despite our different views, we obviously both have a similar view supporting our team and are similar ages.

Hope I have the honor of meeting you and buying you a pint, one day :)

What a day for Liverpool FC, infact what a week. 8 goals , only one reply against Madrid and the scum within 5 days? You cannot ask for more. Everyone was brilliant today, I thought Riera was off the boil and Reina was not himself, but we can let them off a bit seeing as we thumped them :D. Sami, come in at the last minute and played out of his skin, youd think he was 25 not 35. Lucas done well, Ive stated many a time im not Kuyts biggest fan but in the big games he's done it again, one of his best performances in a red shirt. Gerrard and Torres, well I wont be able to give them the praise they deserve in words cos I just cant, there that important. Loved the celebrations, loved all of it. Well done redmen. :bowdown

Just on a side note I think its been mentioned, Sky's game of the day is not todays game. Now not just cos we won, but for a neutral it would be brilliant to watch. But no, theyve gotta downgrade out achievements, haven't they?

Thats what football is all about mate, different opinions, but we support the same team at the end of the day, and on a day like today it brings us all together.

Now I am sat here hoping you are older than me  :D

Yes and all we needed for the icing on the cake was to have Andrea "supersub" Dossena (or, The Dossenator if you prefer :D ) do a Neville and run the length of the pitch to kiss his badge in front of the Stretford End.   :buttrock  :D

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

Spot on.  The odd errant hoof forward aside, Big Sami did not put a foot wrong today despite coming in on very short notice and having some genuine pace to deal with.  How many times did he step into the passing lane and snuff out their through balls.  Legend!  :bowdown

BTW, I think it needs saying: our throw-ins were spectacular today!  :D

Fantastic performance. Thought everyone played really well, though Reina and Riera were maybe not as good as others. Also, the ref had an excellent game. Got all the big decisions right.

Gerrard and Torres were awesome, and how about that for a finish from Dossena?

I'm very happy. :grinning:
