However, I don't see us winning. Owzat may correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Old Trafford has been a happy hunting ground for us over the past five years and I think UTD will edge it.

Always a first time.  Lets do it tomorrow, big time.

A lot depends on how we approach the game..if Benitez chooses to play defensively it could be a very stale affair. If we go all out attack we may do it but i would fear them on the counter attck because they are the best team around at it sadly!
Lets hope Rafa can find somewhere in between and beat the :censored:.

Personally i think if he plays defence minded football from the start its madness because we have nothing to loose..a draw is no use and a win at best(albeit fantastic) still leaves us living in hope!

Id take a 1-0 to us and a droll boring game,no sweat!
Obviously it would be great to tank them, but beating them is more important than an entertaining classic....3 points a must!
Odds against us!

let's all hope we can re-produce the form of tuesday night. let them worry about us from the kick off,the first 25 mins for me will be vital,if the midfield get stuck in & create chances early on we can build from there. i'm sure the likes of torres & stevie g will be as fired up as they were tuesday night, & as a result it spread through the team like wild fire! which was awsome to see & the rest of the game was panned out from there. just hope & pray we have the same mentality tomorrow,i sincerly believe we will have & if so all will be fine.

For anyone that wants to know me mate has just text me the line up for tomorrow, he doesnt usually get them wrong.

Reina
Arbeloa
Aurellio
Carragher
Skyrtl
Kuyt
Mascherano
Lucas
Riera
Gerrard
Torres

Same as the other night but Lucas for Xabi (as he isnt fit), and Riera for Babel.

Also was advised that Spearing is NOT sub, even though we havent any other centre mids on the bench.

Bad news that if true.  I think we need absolutely everyone fit to have any chance in this one.  It's noticeable when Alonso doesn't play this season, he's been excellent, and Lucas just isn't up to it at all.

If Lucas as plays we will lose - simple as. The few supporters that managed to get tickets wont believe the team can win and therefore the men on the pitch won't either

He hasnt been wrong so far but i agree with you yeah, we cant do without Xabi for a game like this, no way.

But the team should defo be right as far as me mate has been advised.

The sending off made little difference, we would have still lost. Utd were cruising when we had 11 men.

If we win tomorrow it will give us a huge boost but it would be so typical of Liverpool to win when the damage is already done.

If we lose tomorrow Utd will be on cruise control and we may well be looking at 13pt+ gap at the end of the season.

Let's show no fear and give it our all, let's go down fighting!

I'm not going to start slagging off Lucas. I'm just going to say we notice when Xabi's NOT there more so than when Lucas IS there. BIG game for him if he starts
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

If we do start with Lucas we've got to play attacking football. It's when we sit back with him trying to defend that he gets stuck.

Hope Xabi's fit though - we need him tomorrow.
