To be honest mate, if we played like we did against Madrid I firly believe we'd give anyone a game. With our best players playing somewhere near their best, we look a very good side indeed.

One last thing, I'd leave babel in against the Mancs. Quite simply, I thought he did enough to keep his spot. He was pacy, direct, dangerous and motivated. Right back is one of their weaker positions, and Ronaldo is hardly going to track back so I'd ask a wee question with Babel. I thought he offered more tonight that Riera has recently, so I'd give him a shot in what is a MUST WIN game.

This could be a VERY good week!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I would love it if we got the double over them and beat them in the CL final.

Maybe the mancs will have come the end of it.

Would you rather the mancs went out and lost their quadrivel chance,

or,

went through and suffered a few injuries, lost to us at the weekend and we close the gap?

Went through and suffered lots of injuries to players like fakey and shrek .That way they would face us with a weakened team and maureen wont be lauded for beating them  :;): :D

:talktothehand  :no I'm suspecting this smiley at the end of your post is for effect GYBS. Such is your passion for hating everything about that manager you keep mentioning, I've a sneaking feeling you'll be cheering the mancs on in their last 16 second leg.

Tut tut.

SSN have just said Alonso, Gerrard and Aurelio are doubts for the game after picking up knocks
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Oh FFS. Aurelio is a sick note. Insua should start. At least Yossi and Riera should be fresh.
