As fickle as football fans are about their team, its now become as clear as mud their fickle about other posters on this forum. Granted the 'Navy boy' aka 'The shadow' real name Kazza has never been a fan of Micks and stalked him around the boards for as long as I can remember.

But I remember many moons ago when Mick was partially Happy Clappy the likes of 'Batty boy' aka Lando and Bazza used to praise and aplaud Mick for his insightful posts. Now his opinion has change about the manager its seems these people and the like have changed their opinion about him. Its gone from "top post Mick" to the "Dildo seller" or the 'self righteous one'.

So now it seems Mick isnt the respected and insightful poster he once was, he isnt one of the best posters on here anymore, but has now become a self obsessed tw@t. I never hardly ever agreed with Mick when his buddy Sabes used to say 'good post'. I didnt agree with him but I never went off on one as his football posts are informative and worth reading, whether i agreed or not. It seems to me that the people who now have turned on him are not able to discuss football or counter his arguments because they now find themselves disagreeing with him, when they once agreed all the time. It just goes to show the level and ability, or lack of it to turn around and insult him rather than debate.

Fickle gets.

mick - maybe sometimes you need to look at yourself before complaining about everyone else ? Yes you may not go and insult people directly but you try doing it in a clever long 28 paragraph way . Now i used to enjoy your posts as to me it looked like you took a lot of effort into it then i looked deeper and everyone was of the same thing just words mixed around . You talk about people spoiling your enjoyment and wanting to take a step back . Well look at your own behaviour towards me and my poll and latching on to the fact i forgot someone and kept going on and on about it and then starting another thread about it and then going on and on and on about it with your sheep joining in with you . Now as i said last night to some people it has got to stage where i cant be bothered to post anything or say anything positive about the club or manager or players because within seconds you get leapt on from a great height from all the negative people and sick of it now . Sometimes i wonder why do these people support the club when they think there is so much wrong .

Bigmick has had a very critic football opinions not for the last months, but for the last 2 or 3 years.

And I've said dozens of good posts to him in those years, so I'm pretty sure I've said good post to a critic post of him or a rotation thread post I've disagreed.

For that matter **I** respect him a lot. However, he must understand that just as he has the right to say a team selection or a position that defends Rafa is ridiculous, I can find what he considers a "great logic" (owzat's), a ridiculous logic. Just as I can consider Rafa's work at the club good, and he considers it not good enough for the club, he can consider Owzat's posts brilliant, while I consider them a heap of cráp (as I do). You see, it's the same thing. Opinions.

What's the difference? that Rafa isn't in newkit to be offended about it?

Mick has been a top poster on here for years, he gives his opinion and also the reasons for him having that opinion, and if he disagrees with you gives his reasons and explains why he thinks you might be wrong.

Maybe he should save time and effort and just call the people he disagrees with a c... much quicker and easier?

Most people enjoy reading Micks posts (I know I do) even when they don't necessarily agree 100% with what he says. So I hope he never comes to that conclusion and carries on writing his thoughtful and incisive posts.

People's opinions change with time and changing events. There is nothing wrong with that imo. I was once a firm believer in rotation, now I think it is costing us points over a season , so I don't like it. If Rafa goes on to win the title this season I have no doubts that my opinion of him and his methods will change, if we blow our chance my opinions will probably harden.

They are just opinions on an internet forum, if I don't want Rafa to be given a new contract this week, do you honestly believe it will have ANY EFFECT on whether rafa gets a contract this week, this month, or this year.

This is supposed to be a place were we can chat, offer our opinions up for DEBATE and have a laugh. If you don't agree with someones opinion explain and say why, don't just call them a c*nt.

Not as long as one of Mick's but I tried

I'm not to sure what your saying.

The obvious difference is Rafa is the manager of Liverpool football club and is in control of the football team. While Mick is on here giving his opinions about the bloke, whether you like it or not any manager of almost any club will be critised by the clubs own supporters at one time or another. He's their to be shot, by the same token if he produces the goods he'll be held in high esteem.

Whatever he finds great logic is upto him (Mick I mean) but just recently its become apparent many people have turned on poor old Mick

What he said I agree.

Mick is the best poster here bar none (except me maybe) and I love what he says. Maybe some of us don;t have the time for as long posts as we are in work maybe but you can't keep with the same moans every week. we ARE moving forwards. There are mistakes Rafa has made and he is stubborn but some people take it too far and don;t sound like fans at all. People take it too to heart and make things personal and that's what needs to stop.

End of the day we all supposedly support the same club so should be getting on just a little better than we are

Yes Bam, that's another difference, Rafa is the manager of the club you support. So he deserves as much as respect as Owzat as a guy. So yesterday I called childish an introduction of Owzat, and Heimdall and Effes said that was out or order. The point I'm making is that when you insult the manager some people will be as offended as some people were with my comment, which I don't think it's any harsher that what we read here about the manager.

I've browsed quickly without attention this thread now, and I won't get involved in the fight, but I did want to clarify Mick that when I find ridiculous something he considers very good, I'm not having a go at him. I suspect for a comment he did (I may be wrong), that when I attacked Owzat numbers once, he thought I attacked him aswell because he said Owzat's logic was very good.

If he didn't understand that and I'm mistaken, then perfect, what I wanted to clarify is clarified.

Sorry for interupting but ive just got to say something here .

It was my initial post moaning about all the negativity on the board that has caused alot of these spats. It wasnt meant to do that. It was just me getting fed up reading it so i apologise for all what has gone on after,

The reason i was fed up was i take so much s.it im my own house from a bitter an a spurs supporter an come on here to hear the same thing i guess. about the manager an the team not being good enough well it does my head in i guess.People have a right to air there views an i dont disrespect that maybe its just me being an arl ar.se, i hate it when anyone has a go at anything to do with Liverpool, Im wafflin here.

I havnt agreed with alot of managers decisions an things theve done over the years but ive only ever turned on one Souness an maybe thats cause any respect i had for him went out the window when he spoke to a certain newspaper.An when he actualy came to believe he was bigger than the club,

Leons post (i cant find it) summs up for me exacly how i feel an maybe its just me not being able to take critisim from posters getting on the managers back . but for me the manager has got us were we want to be. Not only that but hes takingon the cancer that got brought into this club with one hand tied behind his back, An before anyone mentions it i do not believe for one second that Rafa is now Hicks bezzy mate, Hes playing a game with them a game of chess if you like. An i hope the only ones gettin checked are them two lying ba.stards

Ive gone a bit haywire now an im rambling like any old bird but as i said my moaning wasnt meant to cause any friction it was just me having a moan like every woman is entitled to,

Now Micks being harrased for his opinions and this place would be down the Swan-e if he left, its half way there now. And no before anyone or any Mod tells me if I dont like it I should feck off somewhere else. I wont, I've been on this forum long enough to know that these kind of things go in cycles, I just hope the cleansing of late wont have a such a negative impact on this place.

Not quite correct Bam, it was peewee that I was "stalking" as I was offended by his "Kuyte is sh1t" sig and his constant personal attacks on the player and I thought it was not right that that was the case considering we are a Liverpool SUPPORTERS forum.

Mick just played the "he stalks me" violin to discredit my objections about him. With mick I have never called him names but rather just question why he thinks he knows so much when he never worked in football and did not know all the facts that happen behind the scenes. This seems to have got under his skin (that someone dared object) and since then I have "been stalking him". I post other posts that go by unnoticed yet any post quoting mick and now I am "the shadow" :laugh:

I think it is funny that he ignores my posts yet takes cheap shots at me in his, when I have never even used bad language when talking to him. I guess when I told him he did not know everything that really pushed his buttons. As for the Navy boy thing, well I was not actually in the Navy. That's ok, accuracy does not seem so important when you are having a go. :cool:

The less Heimdalls in this forum, the more Leons that won't leave, and the less Lando's that will be offended when he insults the manager and the players. That is, the better forum we'll have. Outraged by my opinion? well, you see, when you parallelly moderate the forum saying who should be banned with the report button or moaning about the mods decissions, there are also a lot of posters that won't do that but do have an opinion. You see just how you consider people happy clappy, I sometimes consider people's posts a heap of ignorant and unrespectful cráp. Opinions

Good one mods. Sorry Heimdall if I broke your heart and you found me okish, but I couldn't care less you're banned, you've lowered the standards of football chat a lot lad. And it's a pity, because I think you are a nice guy after all, just clueless about football or what to support a club implies -- any club, let alone Liverpool.

At this rate we were going to have all the decent posters of this forum gone síck of the negativity and the insults, or banned because the antis reported his anger against the Heimdall insults.

I've read many worse things said about Rafa on here (probably said them myself) than what you said yesterday to Owzat (Another poster who is getting stick for "negative" stats). Thats a bit hypocritical of me as usually I dont read Owzats stats, I dont like them on matches and players etc. I prefer to use my own eyes and reserve my own judgement. But those stats he posted up yesterday were very interesting.

Anyway back on topic, like it or not people will critise Rafa if they dont believe he's doing things right, people may go as far as insulting him in extreme cases. But even still I've read many people on here being verbally abused for critising Rafa in a decent footballing manner, like Mick is now. I dont think thats fair nor is it a good enough excuse to slaughter someone of the net for. Maybe if someone calls Rafa a 'Fat Spanish wa.nker' .. well then their asking for it IMO.

Funnily enough Hemidall wasnt what I'd call one of the more "insightful" posters on here. But I was merely making the observation he's been banned over nothing, the "anti's" or me infact havent made any reports to the Mods.

But as your opinion is about having one Lando less offended by "anti" rants because Hemidall isnt around. this is where I totally disagree with you, having one less Lando around would make this place a hell of a lot better, as the boy rarely can or does talk football. And abuses EVERY poster in sight who disagrees with Rafa. That IMO doesnt make you anymore of a fan than them or me. I want whats best for LFC and if I feel that Rafa's mucked it up I will say so, not to offend potty mouth but airing my views about my club and whats best for it.

I'd go so far as to say Hemidall believe it or not talks more football than your friend Lando who just rants and gets wound up all day long.

As for Leon, I have no idea whats gone on there, from my view even though he's probably had a helping hand in the past in banning me or carding me. I think is a top bloke from where i sit and when he can be @rsed talks about his footie and knows his stuff.
