Wonder whether should we actually win the league (this season/next season/whenever) we could have a discussion regardin nothin but football.

Hard as it is to accept other peoples points of view, it is quite easy to ignore the 'flame wars' and jus post somethin sensible that applies for all not jus some poor guy whose opinion you dont happen to share.

Mind, I'm kinda expectin some $H1t my way for this I guess!!

what its worth my  - my indictment of the RB regime.......

A rollercoaster of emotions, on and off the pitch. Good times (Istanbul, Cardiff etc) and bad times (Burnley and Barnsley in the cup spring to mind) but a period where no-one could second guess the gaffer, match discussions would always have an interestin point to start from, tho not always for a positive reason, and a whole new LFC persona as seen in the press due to that relationship between Rafa, 2 yanks and a clown. One day Spielberg could make a movie outta this. :p
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

Barry, Kazza and Lando all at the same time, must indeed be my lucky day.

My crime? For saying I hear the voices which talk of too much negative opinion, and as a result I'll cut down on my posting. How totally out of order I am, and I absolutely deserve all I get. I am so sorry for being so confrontational. How out of order I have been for the last three hours in abusing Barry, egging him on to slip back into old habits. How silly of me for daring not just to have an opinion, but to post it on a thread which is entitled "my indictment of the Rafa Benitez regime".

So they come. Needless to say they don't bother to refute opinion, they don't come after you with facts nor knowledge. They don't reason with the experience and appreciation of the game which their bluster would have you believe is there, they simply look to gather together and go on a bullying mission. Smothering debate being the optimum objective, as well as the disguise of their own ignorance.

This morning I felt conciliatory as I read the concerns of some people on here who I have the utmost respect for. I read their concerns and I agreed they had grounds, perhaps some negative voices had become too loud. We spoke by PM and I meant every word I said. I hope they realise though if they read through this thread that although my position has shifted somewhat, and it isn't because I've lost my respect for them or their opinion, far from it. My opinion on the right way to proceed is because I'm tired of these people. I'm tired of the fact that no matter what you do, no matter where you turn, no matter how well you try and explain yourself, they follow you and try and engage you all the time.

One of the numpties is so obsessed with coming under my radar, that as he knows I block not just his PM's but also his posts, he asks someone to quote him so I can get the chance to read his contribution. "My" ego trip has made the forum worse apparently. This from a poster who hasn't typed a coherent thought about football in his newkit history. Having read his contribution, (as Lando "there you go my friend" kindly quoted it for him) I'm bound to ask was it really worth the effort? Was there really anything contained within it that was a "must see"? Was there really the killer blow, the final lance to the heart of the stricken? I won't say any more as it seems unfair, his response won't be visible to me and it seems like a cheap shot and I don't do those.

I won't descend to their level either, I never have and I won't do flame wars. I simply say to them that this is a football forum, and that if they wish to discuss football at any level, on any part of the subject past or present with me I will be happy to engage them, (not kazza obviously as that ones over for me). Further, though I am currently in Nz selling dildos (Kazza does love that) I will be back in the Uk running a boozer before long. If these people are so obsessed with me and my choice of living, once I find it where I am they should pop down and see me, they don't even need to bring their computer with them  :).

Is there still anyone on this forum who thinks that insults are equally divided between pro's and anti's? I haven't seen to the best of my knowledge an "anti" once dispute a "pro"'s right to have an opinion (sorry for the use of the monikers pro and anti it just makes it quicker). I haven't seen once an anti moan that there were too fecking many pro's around and say the forum is going to sh!te. I haven't seen anti's slag off the poster of stats rather than look at the content of them, I haven't seen them ask for threads to be closed because they were coming under pressure.

I'm not sure Barry. You appeared to be this morning as you were slagging off anyone who agreed with the stance you had taken a year ago when you said it was time for Rafa to move on. I didn't agree with you then, so I probably have the dubious distinction of copping abuse from you then as I thought Rafa should be given more time, and now as I think he's had enough time.

We've both changed our opinion, and yet we are still on opposite sides of the divide. You do change in your intensity of support for the manager tbough from game to game though so it's anyones guess where you currently sit. You'd know better than me on that point at least.

Just out of interest though, what are you asking me for?

your a professional t!t mate

The anti's are the evil ones in this battle we have. Let us happy clapper rose tinters be happy. We don;t hurt anyone and just want whats best for the team, thats support, full support whilst we sit in this strong position. Why moan? we're doing good. We're 2nd in the league, still in the fight in February, thats where we belong and where we wanna be. Still in the Champs league as well...

Unless it's me you're calling a professional t!t mate (and it probably was the way things are going) you might be making a mistake here as far as Barry is concerned. I think Barry is more towards the "there are too many fecking antis around here ffs/bunch of w@nkers get behind the team" angle than you're giving him credit for.

Course if it was me then fair play

It was Barry of course dude. You are articulate and make sense. Plus you argue your point without insulting people playground style.

and I know Barry is pro, that's what we need, doesn't mean I will give him ANY credit :D

Ah right, good one. Does peeling a raw banana take a bit of nouse and you've never actually managed to achieve it then? It's just not a phrase I'm familiar with sorry Baz.

It appears number 9 is protected by the mods though, it seems perfectly ok for him to go around starting arguments and flame wars, which is in fact contrary to the rules of the forum, without getting into any trouble but god forbid any one being critical of Rafa or that even higher neurotic power the mods, which stragely enough is not discussed as a bannable offense in the forum rules!

BTW anyone else think this is all a bit silly, mods you need to step in and stop this sh1t, a good first move would be to unban heimdall or at least give a creditable reason as to why my two accounts, heimdall and justice, and most probably this one have been banned.

Keep up the fight against the insanity, lets wrestle this forum back from the lunatics who have taken it over and who are destroying it.

At the moment it is that simple. There are some who will pick at the same thing week in week out, and those of us who think we are doing ok. Lot of anger management courses needed, and bananas need ripening?
