In all seriousness I've gotten a fair amount of abuse the last few days and on reflection I probably deserved it, it's just that Rafa drives me nuts.

Anyway back to the game, I think we will win big, I'm going for a 3-1

Is it just me or do they always (or try to) buy strikers who are old news? They've been linked with a loan (move) for Darren Bent who was big with Charlton, Johnson (palace), Beattie (Southampton), the Yak (Pompey/Boro), Duncan Disorderly (Rangers) and Saha (Mancs/Fulham). Smeegel can't be this fantastic manager they claim he is, he shops in the second hand old star players section and when did he last buy an up and coming star? Cahill? If I thought he'd be crap and they could afford him, I'd sell them Keane to continue their trend

Oh and as for their myth about never spending, they paid £15m for a midfielder and plenty on strikers like the ones I named. Just another (bitter) household myth, like being "the people's club"

In my mind there was only one result possible last night. Not convinced there was enough contact that the manc had to go down though.

We need to win at least the same number of games we have already in EIGHT less games. I said a while back that winning runs win titles, the mancs have won seven in a row and are top - nuff said.

What seriously worries me is that we're fecking up bigtime and the Champions League hasn't even resumed, just think how much worse it can get when Rafa's favourite competition resumes. IF we can go on a winning run up until then, get knocked out of the CL, then maybe we'll have a shot at it. If we can't even beat Stokes, Evertons, Wigans, Hulls etc playing just once a week most weeks then what chance if we're trying on two fronts?!?

I think this match is far more important than just the 3 points we will gain.I think its a must win match to settle everyone back down and hopefully ensure our season doesn't just trail off. A defeat today and again against Everton and I can see the minor wounds we have self inflicted becoming almost fatal.

I am confident that Liverpool will not let us down and think we will run out 3-1 winners.

If and its a big if, If Rafa picks the right team we will be in for a good win, its not going to do much to help us win the prem but for them members that would like to see Rafa stay at the club it WILL keep him in the job for a few more weeks.

I really hope we win this one today. We need a posative lift at the club and hopefully this coupled with a good outcome from Rafas meeting with the owners could be just what we need.
