I'm finding it hard to say this, but I thought the best play of the first half was not the goal, but the run by Babel and then the move he made to rip a shot on goal from the left side.

It was good yeah, he was unlucky and is playing well so far

Yeah he does sometimes but I feel his overall contributions are more compared to Kuyt who is physically more dominant but overall wastes chances more.

No arguments there but yossi usually doesn't offer the defensive cover that kuyt does . Both are squad players at best but if i had to pick one for now it will be kuyt

Defensive against what though with Chelsea? They have no wingers. The right side should be used to create things.

chelsea play with no wingers for now yes because they have to accommodate ballack , deco , lampard and mikel and either kalou or malouda on one of the right or left .

When Lucas plays well it's weird but we look boring yet it is somehow effective. This is more like what I expected from Arbeloa last game too. Everyone is playing well enough except for maybe Torres is it just me or does he look dead tired sometimes?

Actually that isn't really the story of our season at all tbh. Mostly we've come from behind and snatched a win, or we've played out a dull 0-0. But I can't really recall too many other games, in which we threw away a lead except against the blueshite recently.

Anyway, I'm thrilled we're ahead, now we just need to go get the second right away :buttrock

still getting back to fitness after a long lay off , hopefully he can bang a at least one in today

We look well on top if a little steccato, on my stream anyway. I'm sticking with my pre-match 2-0 with Gerrard to score the next goal.
