Well, I'm not sure that weekend could have gone any worse, TBPH. Rafa's remarks signalled a throwing down of the gauntlet on Friday and our failure to do our bit against Stoke still stings. Then to have the Mancs wipe the floor with Chelsea and throw down a massive fecking gauntlet of their own is very worrying. By the time we play the Bitters next Monday the Mancs will have played two very winnable games and may will put us in a position where we need a win just to return to the top of the table. FFS, we're in a fight for the title now and it ain't with Chelsea. :no

Wow, an unbelievable amount of moaning going on during these last few pages I see

. 'Twas indeed not a great weekend at all for us, but there's absolutely no reason to throw in the towel just yet. FFS we are just about midway through january and we are in a much better position than for many a season (hello, we are actually still number 1!). Yes, it will be very very difficult to win the league, but had any of you honestly expected us to just walk it

. Every team at the top has lost stupid points, it's not just us! It does look like the mancs will be the team to beat, but didn't most of us think so at the beginning of the season anyway? I sure did, as they have a great squad whether we like 'em or not. So no way am I saying we'll win the thing, but to just give up already when we're in the position we're in is just plain daft imo. Let's just see how this crazy season evolves, maybe the mancs will run through a bad spell - you never know. Cheer up people, YNWA

i was ment to be at the southend game tonight but my mate did not get up in time on sunday to get the tickets.......never let your mate get the tickets, lucky it was not a Liverpool game.
