A report I read at the weekend from one respected financial analyst suggests that of all Premiership clubs, because of the exposure of G&H to the banks, we are in more financial peril than any other club. I can't see how we could afford ANYONE in the transfer window unless we somehow managed to sell the likes of Dossena, Degen, Benayoun....that's just to start with...Then again, re-reading that - who on earth would make an offer for any of them ?

It would also kill any chance we have of winning the league in the near future. Players like that don't become available very often.

Unbeilevable selling gerrard and torres we'd be more of a uefa cup team than one challenging for the title . We should not be looking to sell our best players and i doubt the pair of them will want to leave

Sell Dossena and use the money to buy a cut price Barry, who could provide quality cover at LB as well as other areas.
