He's shocking, get rid ASAP. I've seen enough.

He's only played about 7 games but tonight's performance made baby jesus cry. Imagine if that was a league game!

If I was Rafa I would give him our remaining group stage Champions League games and if he hasn't improved, put him on ice and sell him in Jan. A couple of performances and we could find ourselves out of the league title race.

The thing is though mate he`s done nothing to deserve another game and another "performance" like that and his value will go right down.

He made so many errors, it's embarrassing. Literally every 5 or 10 minutes, he'd make a ridiculous error by letting players get goalside, failing to track them, not winning headers and not preventing crosses.

Twice in the opening 10' he let Lennon get crosses in, once in the opening 10' Pavlyuchenko got ahead of him for the knockdown in the box which could've led to a goal. Then he completely lost Lennon when they had that chance which Agger blocked inside the box. Then it continued to happen, Lennon just ran riot, kept beating him, kept getting crosses in.

Then for the first goal he wasn't even within 5yds of Pavlyuchenko. Straight after that, Cavalieri saved with his feet after O'hara broke through, because Dossena wasn't covering properly. Then he failed to get ahead of Campbell for their second (and wasn't helped by Cavlieri), and for the third, he lets Campbell get goalside of him inside the box from 6yds out :no

As if that was bad enough, second half, he lets Lennon get another cross straight after we've clawed a goal back. He then lets Pavlyuchenko get 5yds ahead of him for their fourth.

Back to his usual straight after that, allowing Lennon to get ahead of him to put in another cross (if his crossing was any good, we could've lost by 7 or 8).

Eventually, we got Insua on and that helped stop the continuous flow of errors.

It's the worst performance from a full back I've ever seen at this level, simple as that.

Yep, we would have been better with ten men I`m sure of it, rather than handing any responsibility to him because every time we needed one thing from him we got the other and with Deggen down the other flank it just fked the whole team, no one was doing there job because players were having to abandon their roles to try and plug a hole else where which just made more holes more space.
Like Sami for the first which in turn pulled Agger across which then left us relying on Drossena to do his job, the rest is history.

Stick degen and dossena in the ressies and leave them there until they decide they want to be proffessional footballers and promote Insua and Darby as back up to Aurelio and arbeloa. Shocking absolutely shocking attitude .

Sorry but the problem lies at Rafa's feet, we have had problems on the left side of defence for years.
Riise was never quite good enough and Dossena for £7m is just laughable, you look at the likes of Evra and Clichy and they are in a different league.

At a time when we are short of cash we have spent £7m on a slow and very average looking player.

Dossena.

A shambolic display from a shockingly poor fullback last night.  On that performance he should be nowhere near the team and we probably should be looking to flog him off to an Italian club in January, before his reputation really nose-dives.  Easily one of Rafa's worst signings.

I am pretty sure we see more of Dossena, Rafa is a stubborn manager, he will stick with his choice of Dossena over Insua, he only makes changes at the end of the season.

No - i think Rafa will off load Dossena and Deggen as soon as possible - Rafa has never been shy of axing a player if he does not meet his standards.  Some of the mistakes made by both fullbacks were comical - they were worse than school boy mistakes - absolute shocking.  Whne my 12year old was screaming at the TV whenever either of them got the ball says it all to me.  I would like to see both Insua and Darby getting a run if either Arbeloa or Aureilo get injured or suspended.  At least they will make an effort and burst their gut.  Deggen when he injured Gomez actually pulled out of the tackle and in doing so injured their goalkeeper.  We can also play Carra right back and Hyypia/Agger in the middle if need be.  As said previously, becuase of these two :censored:, the likes of Hyypia and Agger were ran ragged and unable to concentrate on their own duties.  These two put in by far the worst display by any player(s) in the Liverpool shirt for for as long as i can  remember. Get RIDDDDDDD
