Anyone who 'thought' spudz would be a comfortable win is an idiot, certainly not in the same way Stoke should have been and not nearly as easy as WBA should prove at home

Played WBA six times in the Premiership, won all six and scored 19 goals. I think we can probably write off our title chances if we don't win this one like we ballsed up bigtime against Stoke.

Keane to bag a brace and look every bit the striker Bellamy was for us :D

 I thought Spurs would be a comfortable win and I based that on their position in the league and they way they had been playing (including the Arsenal game) compared to our position in the League and the way we we had been playing, others may have took the Harry effect in to account and therfore predicted a much harder game, but the truth is it SHOULD have been a comfortable win and we blew it, and if we had taken our chances it would have been comfortable , if we played them again in the League tomorrow then I would once again predict a comfortable win.

Hopefully I wont jinx us by saying we will wipe the floor with West Brom, we have dropped points to Stoke and we simply cant afford to drop any more points against these sort of teams and I dont think we will. Easy, comfortable 3-0 Win  :D

think the difference is with spurs despite where they are in the table they do have quality in the team where as West Brom dont really have much at all .

Should be a comfortable win but you never know these days what these mediocre clubs have got. hoping el nino plays this one.. We need firepower upfront. Keane doesnt seem to be scoring so torres back in the side will make things better. I presume a 3-1 with baggies scoring first :D

Hope we play a 4-4-2 with Keane and Torres up front.  We need to rest some more people it's been game after game for two weeks now I think Xabi and Arbeloa more than anyone could use a game off.  God we better score some damn goals I feel we'll be very in control of it but I really have no idea how many we will actually score.

We should try something different for this game and go at it from the start to try and send a message to the other teams and improve on our goal difference a little... they are not a defensive side and if im not wrong they have a pretty bad defensive record.. they have Miller upfront whos a really good player but i dont expect him to do much against us..

                               Reina

Degen         Carragher            Hyypia         Dossena

Pennant        Gerrard          Mascherano        Riera

                   Keane            Torres/Kuyt

should be good enough and looks pretty good going forward.. Hyypia is a threat from setpieces, good width and plenty of options going forward... would have played Alonso for Mascherano but im guessing Alonso would need a rest sooner or later so might asa well keep him out for this one..
As long as we play 2 upfront and 2 wide men ill be happy with any lineup Rafa picks..

Do yeh know what though i still wouldnt play him in this one . West Brom are not exacly a good footballing team . Kickers an tacklers do we want him getting a little set back ??? i still say Rafa should keep him under lock an key till after the spanish friendly. Cause we all know what happens every time hes gone away with Spain lately. he gets :censored: injured :(

I reckon Rafa should tell Nando he has a "knock" just before the Spanish friendly and he wont be going whether he likes it or not!

Atletico were supposed to have had a weak back four too, but Liverpool couldn't get anything past them.

I don't think we should be expecting a comfortable win against WBA. They have had something in their game, I know they're still 2nd from bottom, but that didn't stop Spurs last week.

Liverpool should win, but as has been pointed out, Liverpool should have won against Stoke as well.

TBH, I don't Liverpool have many, if any, "comfortable" wins this year, not like the Derby game opener last season.

I'd swap Masch for Alonso in that side for the first half at leas and play Torres (he's fit according to the news tonight). Bench Kuyt and replace Torres with him if we are a couple up.

come on mate i wouldnt compare the atletico back 4 with west brom's defence...
the atletico back 4 (or 5 or whatever) is all internation stars who would most probably play in the top clubs in any league ... maybe as a unit they dont function as well as they should at times but theyr all very good player (heitinga, A.lopez. Pernia, perrea, pablo, ujfalusi) ...

for the west brom game i dont really think that Rafa would start our strongest lineup: Reina, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Carra, Hyypia, Kuyt, Riera, Alonso, Gerrard, Keane, Torres..

I think one or two changes are to be expected knowing benitez and i'd rather we make changes in this game and scrap a 1-0 victory than play a weaker side in a trickier away fixture and perhaps drop points then.. if we'r gonna drop starting players for a game in the next month or so i think this would have to be the game we do so...

Would love to see Torres if he's fit and he MUST start if he's fit.. im not really into the whole keep him out until after the internationals idea because i think with the run of fixtures we have coming uup in the league this is the perfect time for us to get our players scoring and getting back to top standard...
Torres, Keane, even the likes of Gerrard and Pennant if given the chance SHOULD step up and prove their worth in the next few games... could certainly shape our team for times to come and probably how our season as a whole goes...
On paper they seem like easy wins but unless we go out and attack all those smaller teams like chelsea and manutd do.. i can certainly see us dropping points along the way !
