ROBBIE KEANE has already put the boot in on Chelsea’s title dreams once — now he is dreaming of doing so again.

Last season, back in the days when Spurs scored goals, Keane’s stunning late leveller gave them a dramatic 4-4 draw and rocked the Blues’ hopes of catching Manchester United.

Now he aims to serve up a repeat tomorrow — only this time, his new Liverpool team-mates are the ones with their eyes on stealing a priceless advantage at the top.

Keane, champing at the bit after scoring in the midweek Euro draw at Atletico Madrid, admitted: “That game was phenomenal. It was attack versus attack, a great game to be involved in.

“It was just great entertainment, great excitement. It was a bit like a schoolboy game in some ways because it just seemed like both teams were just attacking all the time.

“I remember there was a long ball played forward and it came off someone’s back and luckily enough I was there. I connected with it and it went in the top corner with two minutes left.

“Obviously it was a game Chelsea needed to win at the time and the result was a disappointment for them.

“Liverpool have done OK against them in the last couple of years so I’m sure we will go there believing that we can get a good result.

“We know it won’t be easy and Chelsea have made a good start, but that doesn’t mean we will be intimidated by them.

“It will be tough on Sunday, because they are doing well and haven’t been beaten for so long at home.

“But the way I look at it, records are there to be broken. We are doing well too and have to be confident we can go there and get a result.”

Keane, 28, has shrugged off the groin problem he picked up in Spain.

And the Irish star is starting to find his feet at Anfield after a jittery start following his £20million summer move from Spurs.

He has had a better time of it than most against Chelsea — certainly last term — helping Spurs to come from behind and beat them in February’s Carling Cup final.

Fighting back has become something of the norm at Liverpool this season, as the Reds have overturned deficits FIVE times in all competitions.

Liverpool cannot afford to go behind if they hope to end Chelsea’s run of 86 unbeaten league games at The Bridge.

Yet Keane reckons at least the manner of Liverpool’s victories should end any lingering doubts about the spirit at Anfield.

He added: “We’ve certainly made hard work of our last couple of games and we definitely can’t keep doing that.

“Last weekend we got another good win against Wigan after going behind. We can take a lot of heart from that as it shows how much character there is in the side.

“Belief is really important in football and if you look at the number of games where we have gone behind and come back to win, that suggests there is a lot of belief in this group of players.

“We’ve shown that in the last few games but the more often you do that the more chance there is you will come unstuck because games won’t always go your way after going behind.

“We’re not playing as well as we’d like, but we are winning which is the main thing.”

A no loose situation today and all I ask for is a gritty performance.

If we loose, its not such a bad thing - they are on fire at the minute and their home record is almost unbelievable

If we draw - awesome result IMHO

If we win - Stella Artois and her freind Jack daniels will be in for some serious beatings!!!

So yea, all i'd like is a performance put in today, and the game not to be spoiled by a dodgy decision and i'll be happy.

ONE MORE THING - if they score i need BAVLONDON to get all depressed - when he does that we always come back :D :D

:D , don't bank on it happening this time mate . Chelsea are going to be very difficult , almost near impossible to come back against . Their danger man would have to be kalou , his pace will deffo worry our defenders and he seems to get into the right places alot at the right time

The bookies seem to think Portmouth are as likely to beat Fulham as Chelsea are to beat us. I know which I think is more likely.

Utd dropped points today against the bitters so a win will be worth so much more for both teams.

We never ever capitalise when something like that happens... I'm less confident now than I was before today's matches!!

Yeah thats true we dropped points when Arsenal lost didnt we. Well we normally draw when the rest drop points. But to be honest I would be quite happy to get a draw tomorrow. Cant say I am confident but to be honest I never have been when playing Chelsea away.

True mate Chelsea are 4/5 and Pompey are 8/11,theres only a midgets di'ck in it

I still think we are way over priced at 4/1 to win..we should be about 12/5 IMO...4/1 is hugely generous!
I cant ever remember seeing us at such high odds to win any game!
Its worth a tenner for £50

I got an uneasy feeling about this match, however I had that same feeling against United.  We have one win and one draw when United has dropped points (two wins if you count the loss to us), so I don't think that stat tells too much.

I'ts always the same againts chelsea away for us, i think every game iv'e watched us play at stamford bridge the past few seasons chelsea have dominated us more in the first half but in the second half we always seem to have 20 minute spell were we dominate but don't always punish them.

I personally think this is our best chance in years of getting the win we need and i think Benitez knows this because for the first time in his reign he is playing against an offensive manager in Scolari rather than defensive in Mourinho and Grant and tatically he will be able to outwitt scholari, well i'm hoping this is the case.

As long as there isn't any silly mistakes that will cost us i think we have a really good chance:;):

A very tough game.
Living in London about 4 in every 5 of my mates are chelsea fans (yes i has mates :O ...but not many :p)
whenever we play chelsea we always seem to have a few chances that i remember us not taking...e.g. Lucas away in the carling cup one on one....Torres at stamford bridge against cech early on one on one, gerrard against them in the 07 champs league 1st leg that volley straight at cech.....
i think if we are going totake anything we will need to make our chances count! i am confident we will get at least 2 or 3 great opportunities we just need to take them well!

Come on the red men!
