The X-Files: I Want To Believe....

that it wasn't the biggest pile of w@nk that I've seen in a long time. I really don't want to go off on a rant about how bad this film turned out to be. I'm so disappointed. I've been a big time fan of the show since it first started, and I feel like Chris Carter has just plunged a dagger in my back. Mulder and Scully just didn't seem to be themselves, it was like they were different characters such was the thinness of the dire script. There were episodes that were 100 times better done than this dross. I'm gutted, because this surely means there will be no more films being made, and it's probably a good thing based on this.

4/10 and that's being kind, coming from a big fan of the series too. :(

I was certainly disappointed with X-files ,though  I actually thought the characters were fairly good on considering the time lapse and having to deal with how the series ended.
As i stated my biggest problem was I rapted with a thought of Monster of week type story rather then UFO conspriacy and didnt end up with either

Just watched Taken with Liam Neeson playing a Jason Bourne clone who is also a very over protective Dad. Has to go to Paris and retrieve his daughters from slave trade.

Standard action movie popcorn fare with a rather awkward first half hour setup. However once he arrives in Paris and action starts, certainly work a look for some good fight scenes

I don't know. Honesty, the worst thing to have ever happened to the X-Files was those two getting personally involved with each other. It f*cked up the tension and chemistry between them. They just weren't the same in this film because of it. Plus Gillian Anderson looks like a different person now. I can't put my finger on what it is about her, but she just looks totally different.

Couldnt agree more with that, it really took the edge of the series as they concentrated on personal chemistry

I guess you just cant roll the clock back though

Yeah that was a good movie.  Nothing really new, but still entertaining.

"All the boys love Mandy Lane" reading the hype with which this film is promoted you'd think it was gonna be up there with the great slasher movies, it isn't  :no . Found myself midway through it's interminable 88 minutes wandering off to the kitchen to make a cuppa without bothering to pause the film, that's how "intense" it is. Worth a DL if you're stuck for something to watch, certainly not worth the price of a cinema ticket.

I've used this one. A bit large(1.37Gb) but good.

Just finished watching it and I have to say it was a good show with a nice twist.

BTW how good looking is Angelina Jolie??

Fucking beautiful woman

why does the girl who plays Scully look so different??

She was in a film on Channel 4 the other night with Danny Dyer, and that was awful....but she got her kit off so i watched it all anyway!  :D
