also the right midfield situation has to get sorted, we cant match man u chelsea and arsenal with players like finnan on the right, dont get me wrong he can do a job, but he's hardly gonna have the offending teams full back shaking in his boots

well we should be getting antonio nunez fairly soon.. so he should be our first choice right mid... anyone know how he plays??

Can't imagine what will happen if gerrard is out. We need Alonso ASAP.

Seeing pongolle playing up front does not give me much confidence. We need a striker too.

SWP is signing a new contract at City, we should give Nunez a chance cos we hadn't heard of Josemi when he signed and he looks mint!!

We have money for that [6 million from Heskey, 8 from Owen and 2 from Murphy plus whatever we have left]

Agreed....Nunez is in I think, he was part of the deal for Owen so he just has to sign I guess....and yeah I really want to see Alonso now, just want to see him and gerrard do the business. And yeah, again I agree, another striker...we are tracking Wiltord apparently, if he's cheap I think that would be a good signing, he was great back up to the Henry and Berkamp for a long time so no reason he can't do a job for us...all french strike force of Cisse and Wiltord sounds pretty tasty to me

we really could do without wiltord i know he free but we still ppaying his wages and if he was good alot of clubs would of signed him we need fresh younger players.

I think Wiltord was loaned out to somebody not sure, maybe I'm wrong.

A striker we should sign is Jose Reyes from Arsenal, he is a GREAT striker. Better than Baros imo.
