My Cousin works in a jewellery shop, and she said that Rafa has enquired about about a little piece of silva.

I'll get onto the blower about it.  :D

Setanta Sports reported that Liverpool have made a bid for Paris Saint Germain young striker David Ngog.

The 19-year-old striker were reportedly told by Le Guen that he could go if a reasonable offer is made. Several reports in France are claiming that Liverpool have made an offer for the young French.

Ngog made 14 appearances in the league last season and managed to score a goal. It’s believed that Liverpool’s French scout Laurent Viaud made the recommendation to the club.

David Ngog is the cousin of Jean-Alain Boumsong

He is believed to be a big talent, so I wouldn't mind having him here if it's for a reasonable price. At PSG he hasn't scored a lot, but on international level with various French youth-sides, he seems to find the goal quite easy. I just hope he won't be another Sinama-Pongolle but Rafa is not Houllier so...

LOL :p

IMO Robbie Keane would be better suited to LFC then Eto'o.
He is only a year older, EPL proven, genuine star, great attitude and work ethic. Whereas Samuel Eto'o clearly has a poor attitude, he has been in trouble in the past for headbutting journos (although I don't blame him) it's still unacceptable behaviour. When you consider Eto'o would probably cost more then Robbie, I think it makes it a no brainer.

i'll be really dissapointed if we didnt sign no one by this time next week ! and by no one i mean atleast one of our so called "main targets ".......keane or barry . :glare:

why cant we just:

A. Put an actual bid in for kean

B. Fuk Barry and Bid for silva

If Liverpool fail in their attempts to sign Barry, Rafael Benitez will turn his attentions to Middlesbrough winger Stewart Downing. - News of the World

Well it seems that the keane deal will be done by tuesday and barry has rejected a peaceful settlement offer from villa . He still wants to play for us .

If keane and barry or silva signs than i think the formation would be like this

Babel      Gerrard     Masch     Silva/Barry :D

                Torres       Keane

defo. we'd have alonso on the bench among a top quality list of others.

Actually think.....is there a better upfront club 'partnership' in the world?

-R. Madrid - Just Van Nistelrooy and maybe Saviola
-Barca      - Dont play 2 together and when they do all they have is Henry and Bojan
-Chelsea   - Drogba and Anelka. Drogba is flukey and Anelka hasnt played well ever for them
- Man Utd - Tevez is overated and Rooney cant score for penuts anymore
- Arsenal  -  The 1 season wonder Adebayor has no partner apart from injured Van Persie and substitute Bendtnar

Maybe these teams have good strikers but we have Torres who is better than David Villa and anyone else and kean who is possibly thee best support striker in the prem/europe

Shall we wait till Torres and Keane play together up front before we go saying that we have the best striking pair in the world? Could be sh.ite together

Looks like Silva will never ever happen ever. So i dont wanna here anymore "I rekon we should sign Silva".
He aint comin lets just leave it.

In other news Riera is and would be really good for us. Downing also is a great player. 1 of those and we will be much much stronger.
