Owen maybe a dicck , but he's still quality , reckon he's slighlty better than keane , got the pace and is still a killer finisher , he has  not looked like the same player ever since leaving us but he's still got enough quality to get into the top 4 .

Keegan makes loan bid for Liverpool starlet

KEVIN Keegan is ready to launch a loan bid for Liverpool defender Emiliano Insua.
Full-back Insua – who helped Argentina win the World Under-20 Cup last year – signed a new three-year contract with the Anfield club this month.

But Newcastle United are optimistic Rafa Benitez – who signed Andrea Dossena from Udinese this summer to replace AS Roma-bound John Arne Riise – will sanction a loan deal to give the highly-rated 19-year-old more first-team experience.

Late last season Keegan went on record saying he needed a left-back to compete with Jose Enrique – signed last summer from Villarreal for £6.3m – for a place in his team, with Reading's Nicky Shorey and Chelsea's Wayne Bridge two candidates.

However, Newcastle will instead turn to Insua, who has made five first-team appearances for Liverpool.

Buenos Aires-born Insua – signed from Boca Juniors – is an attack-minded left-back, and should Keegan land him from his old club, then he will be the second Argentine he has brought to St James's Park this summer, following the signing of winger Jonas Gutierrez from Real Mallorca.

Enrique, meanwhile, made 28 appearances last term, but the 22-year-old was warned by Keegan in April that signing another left-back is one of his priorities.

"I've got to sign another left-back, as I've only got one at the club," said Keegan.

"That's not to say I don't fancy Jose, I do, but I need another left-back."

Keegan also has Hungary Under-21 international Tamas Kadar, 18, on his books.

Kadar joined the club in January from Zalaegerszegi, and impressed for United's reserves in the second half of the season.

I thought Rafa said he would be using him next season  ???
