that would only work if we weren't interested in keane and utd were interested in silva... otherwise the two aren't linked.

whay would forcing fergie to go for berbatov (meaning we cant get keane) be a good thing? - Utd aren't after silva - so we could just go for him anyway regardless of what utd do...

Bringing back Michael Owen would be taking a huge backstep ... Hes Injury Prone and hes lost alot of his sharpness!!

Now buying Robbie Keane for 20million would be money well spent IMO!

Bringing in Michael Owen would make sense because we can register him as a club trained player. Out of the 25 players that you can register for the Champions League squad, at least 4 have to be trained at the club. Right now all we have is Gerrard, Carra and a bunch of youth player that we could register anyway on the unlimited U21 list.

I still wouldn't do it unless it was real cheap and I don't think its going to happen either.
