I think he is a very very good player Bentley but doesnt seem to have the pace that would make him even better.
He would definately be an improvement on Pennant and would get a few more goals, but i'm still not convinced totally, depends on the money Blackburn would be asking really.

According to Manhattan's sources, Liverpool will sign Bentley for 5M, with Riise and Stevie Johnson going in the other way.

Who's Stevie Johnson?

He's one of our younger players. He's a great prospect.

He's only 7 years old, but he looks promising.

the only problem with bently is his massive ego and the fact that i think he could be another pennant.

We should forget about Barry and use the money to get Villa. And then get David Silva from the selling of crouch, Pennant, Carson and riise. We should then play 4-4-2 and we will have Lucas and Plesis to cover the middle for SG and Mascherano. Have Silva to play left and Babel to play right. We would be as dangerous a team there is.

We seem to have slipped into the same old trap of being associated with 36 bland players, most of whom I havent even heard of.

Its as if we can win the league by putting the greatest number of players on the pitch as opposed to the 11 most skillful.

Apparantly the new stadium plan shows the team bench about the same size as the Kop.
