This Bentley rumour is getting up a head of steam. I hope it's true. I wouldn't be too unhappy if we signed Barry, Bentley, Dossena, that swiss dude at right and Mauro Zarate. That would be a good summer's shopping IMO. :)

Football exclusive: KAKA DREAMS OF PLAYING FOR UNITED

World Player of the Year, Kaka, has declared his dream for playing for Manchester United in an exclusive interview with a local Milan radio station. The news will come as a pleasant surprise to the European Champions amidst uncertainty about Cristiano Ronaldo's future. It is said that the hierachy at United see Kaka as the only replacement for Ronaldo, should he leave.

Speaking from his home, Kaka revealed, "I love Milan. I've had a great time here, won the Champions League and some great memories. But football is all about challenges and I feel I'm ready for a new one."

After Milan's failure to qualify for this years Champions League many pundits felt this was Kaka's chance to move on.

"I'm young and at the peak of my football and want to play at the biggest level. The Premier League is the best league in the world and it'd be fantastic to be a part of that. And obviously Manchester is the best place to be at right now. They are European Champions, so it's fantastic no? And when I played there last year, it was a great atmosphere." Kaka added

The opportunity to play with the stars at United is an added attraction. "United have some great players. Giggs and Scholes are legends. Then there's Rooney. And also Anderson who is a good friend of mine."

And when asked if he'd like to play at United his answer was straightforward, "Yes, how can anyone say no? They are European Champions. It will be a dream come true."

This news will no doubt shock Carlo Ancellotti who has just recently pledged his future to Milan. But Sir Alex Ferguson will no doubt sleep easier tonight, knowing that should his star man leave there's another eager to take his place.

What a traitor.  I've always though the guy had class, but to say he wants to move to another club while he's still under contract at Milan is disgraceful.

From BBC Rumours page:

Liverpool have opened negotiations with Roma over the possible £5m sale of attacking left-back John Arne Riise. (The Independent)

---

with it being Roma... how about a straight swap for Mancini?? - wasn't he valued at a cut price 5/6mil a while back?

W@nkers like Kaka and Ronaldo are milking British football for every penny they can.

If ManUre are silly enough to play the game then bully for them, they will overtake Chelsea as knobs of the year.

and Premiership Champions....
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Just saw on Footy 365 (transfer gossip section) a throwaway line about Wigan bidding 5 million pounds for Djibs Cisse.  Has anyone seen this elsewhere? ???

saw it on the bbc rumours page:

With boss Steve Bruce struggling to sign Egyptian hitman Amr Zaki, Wigan have been sounded out by Marseille about bringing former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse back to the Premier League. (Daily Mail)

also on there....

Newcastle are holding out for £7m from Liverpool for the services of nippy wide midfielder James Milner. (The Times)

this milner thing just wont go away. I mean the kid's okay... but I'd put him around the level of Pennant and to improve our first team, we really need better
