Depending on which Liverpool fans you speak to Harry Kewell was at best a player who could have delivered far more in a Red shirt if injuries hadn’t plagued him, but at worst a complete waste of time and money who’s good performances for the Merseysiders could be counted on one hand (even if that hand had three fingers removed in a freak fishing incident). However be warned worst could occur!
The former Arsenal attacker is seeking a return to England in a bid to kick-start his career, with many Premier League among clubs monitoring developments. (The People)
Newcastle and Liverpool have been suggested as two of those Premier League clubs considering a move for the hideously one footed player. Comparing him to the Aussie may be harsh but given time he could well become as bad as Harry, or at least as much of a waste of money. I fully expect Kevin Keegan to make the bid for Newcastle that should at least let Liverpool fans breath a sigh of relief. However I think that the Toon Army deserve better, so expect instead a summer move by Boro!
Take it you never watched Arsenal a couple of seasons ago?,Reyes would be an excellent addition IMO, Wenger would have him back tomorrow a proved performer in the premiership who would availible for next to nothing. Speaking of 'one footed' players take a look at Ryan Babel, Reyes and Kewell for that matter are far more complete players than the likes of Babel/Kuyt will ever be.
