That is a f*cking shocker of a tackle. Taylor should be banned from football for the rest of his career. People will say he went for the ball. I've watched the replay over and over. He's too late to be going for the ball.

I've watched the replays... IMO the tackle didnt' seem malicious... it was clumsy... and a very bad timing for eduardo... his leg was planted with his weight on the ground when the impact came in... very unfortunate and horrible injury... as for wether it is career ending... maybe 15-20 years ago... nowadays there are alot of players suffering multiple breaks and recovered fully... but the ankle break is nasty... i would suppose he's on a long road back to recovery possibly for a year or so... but a complete recovery should be possible in today's age...

fu.ck me that's horrible.

Looks like an open fracture, probably 2 breaks - tibia and fibula both gone.  That'll be 9 months to a year I reckon

Looks quite nasty that. Still only a booking though, looking at the way it has broke, his studs on his standing foot were obviously dug in to the pitch, tackles like that happen EVERY day in football the only difference this time is that his foot was planted in to the pitch. 9 times out of 10 the player would lose his footing and end up on top of the player sliding in. Dont be fooled by the graphic pictures, it was a bad tackle but I have seen worse   and the over reaction by Wenger to say Taylor should not play again is just emotion talking. The T.V footage shows he went for the ball but Eduardo was to quick for him, to indicate he actually meant to harm is is ridiculous
