Awful!

I understand Wengers frustration but to say Taylor should never play again is way over the top. The tackle was mistimed not malicious, Eduardo was just too quick for him, the tackle was a normal slide tackle

agree with u there.....Taylor looked shocked himself straight after the tackle.  I think he intended to go in hard but not do something like that to the guy.

Taylor should be banned for the rest of the season.

Outrageous challenge.

Just watched it on MOTD. Slow motion replay showed his bone popping out I nearly yipped ! Lets hope he recovers well.

Credit to wenger also for retracting his statement. I didnt think it was malicious, clumsy more than anything.

Wenger has retracted his earlier comments about Taylor

In other events, I think Newcastle are the most spineless and pathetic club in English football.

that picture tells a thousand words, he has to be banned for at least  the rest a season for that, :censored: disgraceful, i don't know how anyone can get back from a serious ankel injury as that, the ligiments, tendons achilles heel ruptured, ankle joint needing total repair, marco van basten had to retire from football from a ankle injury that was not as severe as that, if this eduardo never plays again then the idiot who did should not either.

I think thats a bit harsh, is that the first time hes been sent off in his career? Just going by what McCleish said in the aftermath. It was clumsy and reckless but if you can ban him for the rest of the season then people like Joey Barton should be shot. You have players who dont intend to injure players and you have the ones who do.

No.

I think he was a bit unlucky. It looked really bad but there was a lot of similar challenges in the Premiership over the weekend that didn't turn out as bad.

I feel really bad for Eduardo but also felt a bit for Taylor. I don't think he is a dirty player and looked distraught after the tackle
