:D

The hair actually was one of the most simple and careless parts of work there. It took me about 10 miinutes. I think if anything, my technique of getting hair looking realistic is almost as good as it can get and as fast as it can get.

I'll certainly be doing one of Carragher, one of Rafa, and a few other ones of other legends. As for the Torres, one already exists of him. Just search the forum for it, or check out my other videos on Youtube and you'll see it.

It took me roughly 10 hours to do this. About 4 hours for Gerard himself and the rest on the Kop. I seriously regretted starting the Kop about half way through and rushed it a little. To be honest it didn't really matter if things were slightly off. I knew I was going to use a focus effect with Gaussian Blur so it didn't need to be that detailed, just have plenty of content and color for the correct effect. Either way, it's a good thing to leave certain areas rough looking. I think it's better that people realize that is is a piece of artwork rather than a photo otherwise what's the point? I could have just cut out a few images and and mashed them together, admittedly like I did with the badge on Gerrard's shirt simply because I wasn't working with the correct resolution to get it looking detailed enough in the first place.

Yeah i noticed that, cheating b.astard  :D

Nar unbelievable stuff that mate

Absolutely mind blowing. I tried doing one of those. Didn't go so well. Took me a day to draw the p!ssin' outline and even then it looked p!ss poor. Your extremely talented to be doing that especially in such short time. Have you got degrees and everything in Art ER?

Nope. No degree's. Couple of A-levels, but I quit Art college over a dispute with the tutors who tried to tell me, or convince me, that the old masters like Vermeer and DiVinci weren't that good. This coming from a man who made a living wrapping up objects in string, taking a negative photo of them, then producing a synthetic manual print on rubber by himself and calling it art. Andy Warhol material, Pop art bollox. To be honest, I went to art college thinking they'd improve me and teach me more about fine art. What they do today is take you in and actually degrade your skills by making you produce more abstract nonsense than fine art. It's good for teaching you technical stuff, like using printing apparatus and photography and such.

And why do people keep calling me E.R?!  :veryangry

That's an S! It's S.R. S for Stephen!  :D

Oh, and Sylar is a cracking character by the way. I believe if he wasn't in Heroes it wouldn't be half as good. Well, the first series anyway. The second was a bit....flat.

great work stephen :D , i think if some of the players families could see your work im sure some of them would commission you to do something.

would be great if you could do a Rafa one then get it framed to give to him, if not here i know there are people on rawk who could make it happen.

hats off to you.
