1) Liverpool player of the year - Big Sami Hyypia. Why? Because just how good is he? Held our back line solid at the absence of Agger. A valuable servant to the club and a legend still playing in his last year. You will be missed, Sami.
2) Most disappointing player of the year - Dirk Kuyt or Sissoko? I'll go with Momo. He just looks disinterested now. At least Kuyt tries.
3) Most improved player of the year - Without doubt it's Arbeloa. Kept rent boy Ronaldo in his pocket and that speaks volumes for me.
4) Best Liverpool performance of the year - Some will say 2-1 at the Camp Nou. I say they were there for the taking. Some might say 4-0 at Marsielle, and I would probably agree. We were too hot to handle when the chips were down.
5) Worst Liverpool performance of the year - Marseille at home. Disgraceful, and probably our lowest since Rafa took charge.
6) Best Liverpool goal of the year - Riise at the Nou Camp. It sent a big f*ck you to all that doubted us and stated that we were no flash in the pan. We are Liverpool. Fear us!

1) Forum member of the year - I'll say S@int. Never really blows a fuse or jumps the gun. Never really gets involved in petty arguments either.
2) Best thread of the year - Too many to recall. Not good ones, just too many threads in general. I enjoyed the Champions League draw thread when we drew Besiktas and all their fans flooded the board. Some posted knives and all that. Was a laugh.
3) Worst thread of the year - That rotation one. Or any one in general that is like that. I mean, you can only talk b*llocks so much.
4) Joker of the year - Ciggy. No one has made me laugh as much when she tells people how it is. She's a way with words. And her jokes and threads about the Bitters.
5) Dispute of the year - The ones in that "too many Ethnics" thread.
6) Worst rumour of the year - Klinsmann being our next manager. F*CK OFF!

1 Liverpool player of the year. Carragher
2 Most disappointing player of the year. Kuyt
3 Most improved player. Arbeloa. He was forgotten completely when we was on the team sheet at Barcelona.
4 Best Liverpool performance of the year. Barcelona 1 - 2 Liverpool (I have watched only 6-7 games the whole year, but it was a great display against a very good Barcelona side)
5 Worst Liverpool performance of the year. I cannot vote, as I have not seen the main contenders
6. Best goal Torres at Marseille.

1. Forum member of the year. S@int for me, he is one of the balanced posters, fair views and good humour too.

2. Best thread of the year. It has to be the R word thread

3. Worst thread of the year. Probably the Alonso thread that degenerated in a war. There were also some "sack Rafa" threads

4. Joker of the year Definitely The Manhattan project, although sometimes he overdoes it (I remember some caressing hints that seemed over-the-top to me).

5. Dispute of the year. The continuous bombs fired between Rotation and Anti - Rotation flagships

6. Worst rumour of the year. Worst rumour for Liverpool has to be the Klinsmann one. Next come "Pako was the real manager" and "Yanks to outbid DIC" - unfortunately the last one was true.

1, player of the year ............Arbeloa, unsung and underrated, played mostly on the left when his preferred position is on the right , not always perfect but has made massive strides to establish himself in the red shirt. After Carragher probababy our best defender.

2, most disappointing............. Kuyt, can't fault his application but ........most of you know what i'm trying to say here.

3, most improved...........Kewell ,the f'ucker's made a few appearances without pulling a muscle, and if truth be told has shown a little bit of what prompted us to sign him in the first place.

4, Best performance...............Marsielle away, demolished the f'uckers after they mugged us at home, the importance of this result is probably only FULLY appreciated by Rafa.

5, Worst performance ? ....... Reading , now f'uck off I was just getting over it.

6, Best Goal ? .......... Any from the Torres menu

but the one in Marsielle is the cherry on the cake.

1, Forum member of the year............... Ciggy , always reminds me that Liver Birds are the best :buttrock

, particularly when they're p'issed (if only I was 20 years younger :love:

2, Best thread ............. Your first fattie (?) Love it when we bare our nightmares to the world

3, Worst thread ? ......... Fu'cks sake where do i start ? ..... 75% qualify.

6, Worst rumour ................. Henri to Liverpool.

This is a rather arselickerish set of questions, but anyhow;

1) Gerrard, a poor performance by his own standards is often a very good performance in comparison to the level of the rest of the team. His class makes him the standout candidate. Now we have Torres, a player of similar class and quality, this choice may not be so easy come next year.

2) Sissoko, his level has been well below what we know he is capable of for some time now.

3) Mascherano, he's gone from West Ham reject to a justifiable £17m signing in the space of a year. A classy player.
A quick mention for Agger aswell, to forge a partnership with Carragher, in doing so displacing Hyypia and reaching the UCL final is a mark of his development.

4) Barcelona away, a masterful and majestic display, and from 1-0 down. One of our best results and performances of all time.

5) Marseille at home, one of our worst displays of all time.

6) Kuyt vs Newcastle, brilliantly executed.

1) There are a number of quality posters, to single out one may get to their head.

3) The Rotation thread - a platform for Mick to chat his inimitable drivel for hours on end (

Phew, good job there's not a worst forum member category, the list from my side would be far too long

Only kidding, I've enjoyed a lot of good arguments...err discussions this year but by and large you are all good posters and have decent points of view, it's just that I seldom agree with them :rasp

Best player: Torres,
Most improved Pennant, remember him ?
Worst player: far too many but probably Crouch or Kuyt
Best goal: Pretty much anything lately by Torres, the guy is a genius.

1) Torres and Gerrard, our season would be screwed if not for those two

2) Kuyt, just hasnt earnt his price.

3) Arbeloa or Agger. Did you really expect to see them in our team as well as they are now?

4) 2-1 at the Nou Camp,

5) Marseille, mainly because we had a far far better team than them and we looked like we ate massive christmas meal and spent the whole night awake...

6) Pennant vs. Chelsea was nice, mainly due to its importance... Nearly all of the Torres goals... But im going with Agger vs. Chelsea, perfect plan, trick them all, keep Agger free, and a pin point finish

1) Not any one that stands out for me, might of if some posters would stop fighting

2) The Match theads Manhattan makes

3) "Who would you like to punch". Was bloody great but ruined by a stupid arguement... got the fickle thead, but the worse was the Wilhelmssons racist one

4) Manhattan

5) Alonso vs Mascha.

6) Rafa will be sacked tomorrow

Manhatten Project is the funniest guy around here over the last year. I'm using a laptop these days but on my PC upstairs, I've got a thread of his saved in my favourites which had me pissing. I'll dig it out later...
