All the lads (well minus 2) went paintballing last week for a chrimbo jolly, lad who I know works at the site, this is his tale of how it went.....

He said that they didn't know who the booking was for until they all up in a clapped out old transit van, the kind of which you would expect a scout group to arrive in, not multi million pound megastar millionaire footballers, crouchie didn't look happy as he had to sit hunched and was rubbing his back as he was getting out.

The safety briefing was delayed for 10 minutes because Riise wouldn't put his phone away.

Momo arrived with his own goggles, was great at capturing the flag, but not so great at keeping it.

Kuyt thought he was Rambo, kept charging around everywhere aimlessly, didn't hit much but worked really hard and provided plenty of covering fire.

Crouch thought the if he stood really still and straight the other lads would think he was a tree.

Agger took it all far to seriously, as became evident when he unsheathed a massive hunting knife in a game of search and rescue.

Parry couldn't take part as they didn't have any boots that would fit his oversized feet.

Riise, when he finally put his phone away was always breaking formation and standing in clear view shooting as targets up to 60 metres away, despite the guns only having a 40 metre range.

Sammi was constantly hunting down and shooting Momo, who was on the same side.

Pennant wasn't happy at all getting paint in his hair.

Reina had the added advantage of being impervious to headshots as they were merely deflecting off his shiny bald head.

Torres was the man

It turns out the transit van wasn't hired, it belongs to Voronin.
