Has anyone seen I am legend with Will Smith ?

I am bored and should be in bed but the MRS has gone to Tesco shopping , it opened at 12.01 !!, so I thought I would download it while I waited for her to come back ???

'McLovin' :D  :D  :D

McLovin' :D

Hilarious movie, that.  Jonah Hill's a potty-mouthed comic genius and Michael Cera picks up right where he left off with "Arrested Development."

Best line: "By the time college rolls around I'll be like the Iron Chef of pounding vag!"

'The bucket list' staring Jack Nichleson and Morgan Freeman, very humerous and funny but pretty sad too. Nichleson's humour and wit is typically funny. Great movie, must see.

'I am Legend' Will Smith's latest movie where he is the last man on earth, and tries to find the cure to beat the Cnacer virus thats turned mankind into blood thirsty agressive creatures. For me Will plays a good part as a loner wandering the streets on New York, after being alone for three years he appears to be on the edge of insanity. Good actiing from Will in this one, and worth a watch too.

'Gone baby gone' Directed by Ben Affleck and the main charcter is played by Bens brother Kasey ? Affleck who in this movie is kind of a private detective who tries to find missing kids. Of course a girl goes missing and the plots laid for Kasey and his misses to put thhe pieces togther to find the girl, this film also features Morgan Freeman and is well worth a watch although Ben Afflecks brother is a bit of a lame actor.

Death sentence, staring Kevin Bacon is decent enough, a family man who's kid is murdered turns to revenge to avenge the death of his son, pretty good film, again worth watching.

If anyone wants more of a run down I'll happily let thm know, my favourite there is the 'Bucket list' really liked it and I think most people will enjoy this one.

Bucket List.

A badly poured pint. You know there's stuff in the glass that you like (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) but there's so much froth that you can't help feeling your glass was actually less than half full.

Very disappointed , the film goes nowhere (apart from a lame picture postcard 20 min tour of africa and asia that apparently in "film time" was 3 months), Jack does his best with a script that tries to imitate aspects of  his character from "As Good as it Gets" but ultimately even he fails to make this movie anything more than a "thank christ I didn't go to the cinema to see this"

I am Legend

Make that  "I am a Leg End"

Bright start that quickly fizzles out. Light years away from the thought provoking original wherein the Vampires become the society and the human hero is in fact the monster , an aspect barely touched upon in this latest version apart from a brief reference to how many vampires our hero had operated upon resulting in their deaths.

Forget the hype and save yourself some money.

Woof you miserable get,

Just seen Halloween, another good movie better than the originals, its the pre-quel anf about the boy Michael Mires.

If you listen to Woofs ratings you may aswell turn the radio on, as it'll never be worth watching movies again. :D

Well erh you might aswell have said that, considering your a mature wise old owl around here. Who is pretty much respected by everyone. So you constantly giving film ratings 0f 4's and 5's to good films I may add is like telling people they cant eat their popcorn.  :D Well sort of, lol.

Do you never just watch a film and enjoy it Woof? Not every film needs to promote a message, I enjoyed both "Legend" and "Bucket" and I certainly preferred "Legend" to the original Omega man , which while it was more faithful to the book was much less frightening and more of a social comment on Communism or racism (take your pick) than just an enjoyable film.

Believe me Saint I don't sit down to watch a movie thinking " I'm gonna be be bored sh'itless with this one"

I love a good film and due to their availability on the internet I watch on average 4-5 movies a week. Maybe having seen so many I'm just a little harder to please.

Watched "Balls of Fury" yesterday purely because one of my fave actors Christopher Walken was in it .As they say maybe "I'm too old for this sh'it", as a comedy it was absolutely dire. Another in a long string of films aimed at America's teenage audience , humour, when it was apparent, was at it's most basic. There are members of this forum who could write wittier film scripts.

ps I'm watching the Darjeeling Ltd today (love Owen Wilson) I'm hoping for better things.

Watched Wrong turn 2....a film that seemed to have the story line written in 5 mins, and so cheesy.

Also Return to house on haunted hill..other :censored: film with a silly story line.

Just finished watching No Country for Old Men. I really enjoyed it but I think its one of those films that you will either love or hate. Written and directed by the Coen brothers. 8/10

Yeah I saw No country for old men the other day. I found it quite hard to follow, that dude the one with the wig or the the lego man hair cut was a creepy fella. Tommy lee jones looked old. :D

I did enjoy it though worth watching. 7/10
