1) I am the owner of a pet store. If I put in one canary per cage, I have one bird too many. If I put in two canaries per cage, I have one cage too many. How many cages and canaries do I have?

2) You are on an island in the middle of a lake. The lake is in a remote part of the country and there has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland.

Every day a tractor and wagon gives hay rides around the island. Puzzled as to how the tractor had gotten onto the island, you ask around and find out that the tractor was not transported to the island by boat or by air. Nor was it built on the island.

how did the tractor got there?

1) 3 cages 4 birds (was easy that one)
2) lake was frozen! i always though on this riddle, what if the tractor has fallen through the ice, there not light
3) no clue
4) one way is to saw the table in half then put it together to make a HOLE (whole)
5) sally is blind and was reading a braille book

2) It's a man made lake. The tractor was already on a higher piece of land when the land was flooded to make the lake.

3) Edict. The longest word in thedictionary.

5) Sally and Sergi are eskimos living in the arctic circle and it's summer (24 hours daylight).
