so anyway.....

1) A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50."
The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less.
In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

2) How can you clasp someone's hands together in such a manner that they cannot leave the room without unclasping them?

3) Some cogs are tigs.
All tigs are bons.
Some bons are pabs.
Some pabs are tigs.
Therefore, cogs are definitely pabs?

Heard this one before. You wrap there hands round a pillar. The only way they can move is if they unclasp them.

Third one im bloody clueless !

PS. Just remembered the riddle I heard. A monk is in a temple and his hands are locked together but he couldnt leave the temple unless he unlocks them how?

His hands were locked together around a pillar.

No. All tigs are bons.
Some bons are pabs.

Therefore some are bons, im losing myself here ! The second phrase is false, all tigs cannot be bons because some bons are pabs.

1) The ages of a dad and son add up to 66. The dad's age is the son's age reversed.
How old are they? (3solutions)

2) Three friends check into a motel for the night and the clerk tells them the bill is $30, payable in advance. So, they each pay the clerk $10 and go to their room. A few minutes later, the clerk realizes he has made an error and overcharged the trio by $5. He asks the bellhop to return $5 to the 3 friends who had just checked in. The bellhop sees this as an opportunity to make $2 as he reasons that the three friends would have a tough time dividing $5 evenly among them; so he decides to tell them that the clerk made a mistake of only $3, giving a dollar back to each of the friends. He pockets the leftover $2 and goes home for the day! Now, each of the three friends gets a dollar back, thus they each paid $9 for the room which is a total of $27 for the night. We know the bellhop pocketed $2 and adding that to the $27, you get $29, not $30 which was originally spent. Where did the other dollar go? ???

They paid $30 to start with, they each received back $1, meaning they now have only paid $27. The Manager got $25 for the room and the Bell Boy pocketed $2, there is no missing $.
