The dvd is out in the uk already ,there's gotta be a torrent out there somewhere, surely ?

Would it not be easier running down to the video shop?  :D

Finally got a good copy of the new Harry Potter, good film but with the usual weak ending. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't expect it to be to everyones taste.

Saw Knocked Up last night. It was pretty good but was not a patch on 'the 40 year old virgin' in terms of laughs. I usually find that soem directors have a really good first film but then their follow ups are only pretty average. I suppose it's down to their first movies feeling fresh with but the follow ups have very similar styles that can go stale pretty quickly.

Still it kept my interest as Katherine Heigl would get it everytime, GIGGIDY GIGGIDY GIGGIDY ALLLLRRRIGGHT! :D

I'm about to watch Lucy Lui's new one ... Rise Blood hunter I think its called.

You mean Straightheads.

I watched it the other night. What a complete load of b@llocks it was too. Horrible film. I only watched it because Mrs Anderson is in it. Oh, and she gets to rape a bloke's hole with the barrel of a gun. Who wouldn't want to see that, eh?

Another film I watched with Gillian in it was The Mighty Celt with Robert Carlyle. Once again, it was a dire movie, but that film was filmed just down the street from me, so it was weird to see those two actors in places I know well. Oh, and her Belfast accent in it isn't bad. It's certainly not as bad as Brad Pitts, which was wild. Carlyle's accent was spot on. But then again, he's a spot on actor. I wish I'd have known they were filming it. I could have gone and caught a glimps of Scully. God, that would have been weird to see that.

I watched No Man's Land [saw it a couple of years ago] and it just made me upset at the end. Reminding me of all the :censored: that me and countless others went through.

If you haven't seen it, you should.

I watched the film too, right up until part 13 or something. Funny, though, it had the same plot all the way through, and involved very well endowed ladies inserting big plastic things in their....oh, wait.

there is a new japanese horror film called ''apartment 1303''. while the main actress is really cute, the story has no direction at all. and people die. they just die. like what is going on really!?! its a really poor movie IMO. Dead Silence was a much much better show though the ending was a bit abrupt.

A bit like 1408 with John Cusack. Probably a direct rip off, and that film was bollox too.

ah 1408 had a good start but faded especially when the wife entered the storyline. but really apartment 1303 was much much worse than 1408.

You know what, I agree. That's exactly what I thought too. Very good at the start, but once you see a ghost, yer like "Is that the f*cking best they could do?!" They actually ruined the film by giving you something visual to look at. The whole creepy part was the suspense when he first went into the room.

whats up with the ghosts man? they were so so fake! maybe its the way they did it. didnt seem real at all. and the bit when he started talking to the fridge almost turned into a joke. dead silence is a good show though. the ending was abrupt but it takes a brave director to have such an ending. wish i could explain abit more but i don't wanna give any spoilers.

I watched a good one called This is England!

Its about a young fella brought up in the Faulklands era..Basically he looses his dad in the war his mother cant cope.He befriends a group of Skinheads twice his age and they kinda become his life or father figures!

Its good story and im sure it can hit home with a lot of people on here....Well it did with me anyway!

The end is quite dramatic, upsetting a bit but factual as it is based on the directors childhood experience!

Id recommend it anyway...If ya wanna cry with laughter and weep with pity in 90 mins watch this film..Its great!
Also the titles at the start will make you laugh too, full of retro stuff we all loved but forgot about!
