I thought it was the best goal scored against us that season - the spin from Kaka, the pass and the finish; it was executed perfectly - there have been more spectacular goals, Gerrard aginst Boro a few weeks before was incredible, but Kaka's ball was 10/10, and Crespo's finish was as well. I liked Erik Edmans in the Champions League season. Lpool v Spurs at Anfield. Fucking rocket, left Dudek with no chance.

That's just textbook passing football. 3 minutes of footage, and we get 1 solitary touch of the ball, which is Sami putting it out for a throw.

And apart from the killer pass through to Overmars, there's nothing tricksy in there at all. It's just simple passing and constant movement. There are more immediately eyecatching goals, particularly things like Edman and Yeboah's strikes from distance, but that Barca goal is a great, great lesson of how the game should be played.

Don't get me wrong mate, I'm just disagreeing with your opinion. I hate conceding goals, but that goal was a gem, from Kaka's pass to the finish from Crespo. An absolute beast of a goal.

When that goal was scored, I was numbed and refused to take it in. I havn't really reflected on it that well since, but the speed a efficiency in which it was scored was leathal. Still think Dudeck should have gotten a bit of it, or at least a bit of Crespo.

Dear Lord, after watching that Overmars goal, it really was good wasn't it? Superb goal.

I just take consolation in the fact that every other time we seem to play Barcelona we absolutely twat them, and I'm not being big headed, the stats are there, so I'm not that arsed.

Counted 28 passes after Sami put it out. And I think every player bar the keeper touches the ball.

sharpe`s goal at anfield in the derby was a good goal but it was also a real sickener because us and everton were the best 2 teams in the country back then and it was a real clash of the giants.
