Best goal scored against us? - Theirry henry?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Just watching Soccer AM and according to Theirry Henry himself, the best goal he ever scored was that one where we were 2-1 up against Arsenal and they won 4-2. The one where he made Didi Hamman fall over, then walked through our defense and slotted one past Kirkland. It was pretty good. Every now and again you get a goal scored against you where you just have to stand back and say "fair enough" because it was that good.

So, what do you reckon was the best goal we ever conceded? Was it Theirry's? Or can you think of a better one?

Justin Fashanou's for Norwich against us was a good one (Won goal of the season)
Bobby Charlton's goal against us when we lost 4-1 at home was another good goal
Drogba's last season for Chelsea was another

Fashanou's goal

I remember Barcalona comming to us, passing the ball about 50 times without us touching it and i think it was overmars who slotted it away. Now that was a proper goal.

Erik's 35 yard screamer

Erik Edman’s 35 yard screamer against Dudek, I have never seen a goal like that conceded by us before, a truly memorable goal, I actually applauded the shot as it sailed in, a superb individual strike.

Yeboah goal

i was in ibiza in a bar jam packed with leeds and liverpool fans and everyone thought that was an great strike, but the fact it hit the bar and jamo was at full stretch makes it look good

for me the valencia goal on the edge of the box was one of the best as they out played us all game and we looked all over the place against them

It doesn’t seem like a cross, it doesn’t look like a cross and it sure doesn’t have the intent of a cross, unless Edman scuffed his cross and it ended up flying into top right hand corner of the net.

To me it looks like a shot with intent, whether not Edman knew it had gone in or would go in when the ball left his foot, is something only he can answer, however why would there be as much power exerted from his foot onto the ball for a cross?

It doesn’t add up to me, it was a sheer class goal and one I have enjoyed seeing time after time, it is a goal that never gets old.
