Also watched The Contract with Morgan Freeman and John Cusack, basically Morgan whos a hitman has been arrested he is being taken to Washington and his car crashes and kills the policemen, leaving John and his son who are hiking to bring him in, while being chased across the mountains by Morgans other hitmen friends. Anyone that has not seen 'Last Boys Scout' is missing out. Brilliant classic action film with great one liners.

"You mean you accidently tripped and stuck your dick in my wife.."   :D
"This is the stickiest situation since sticky the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun"

I've seen a few films recently so here's my take on them:

Watched Shrek the Third at the cinema on saturday. Despite the fire alarm going off as it started and the kid kicking my seat  it was a decent enough film. It was enjoyable but not up to the standard of the first two films. Most of the funny stuff is in the trailers and they seem to be making jokes about the funny parts of past films rather than thinking up new things.

The Island: I was pleasantly surprised by this. Everyone had told me it was awful but I thought it was enjoyable. Worth a watch if you can stand Ewan McGregor doing a generic american accent.

Babel: Far too long. An interesting film, quite political but doesn't try and give answers to the questions it raises. Unfortunately for me, it was a 90 minute film stretched over 2 hours plus. The slow pace was probably intended to raise the tension but I couldn't help thinking "get on with it" as scenes became repetetive.

I watched The Island a while ago, but I thought it was good too mate.

Next up for me is the FF  Silver surfer as I finally got a good copy. Still trying for DieHard 4, Oceans Thirteen, Shrek3 and Transformers (Transformers for my son not me, as I never saw the TV series  :(  )

Not seen Hostle2 but the first one was a bit too much for me. May give the second one a chance if its not as gruesome.

Downloading F4 Silver Surfer as we speak, watched Die Hard 4.0 and was pretty disappointed, special effects and stunt scenes are ok but McClaine just isn't as good as he was in the previous ones ( one liners are still quality though ).

Hostel2 IMO is better than the first one, more gruesome in parts and explains the story better than the first one did ( you need to watch that one first )
