i saw this elswhere and thought it would spark great debate on here. have a look at the wesite below and post your comments.

personally i think countries are better off for being under the empire or commonwealth as it is now, many of the countries are now wealthy and have a great legal system and finances, they also have good infrastructures.

sure its ok to ay we took their resources, but we also gave them back in the ways i mention above.

anyway your thoughts..........

haha, they don't even know who they represent. if you ask me, its simply a guise to display anti british sentiment and should be ignored.

Thats just hilarious!

The funniest part is that we deserve to be sued for inventing machine guns!

How about we all start to sue every country whos people come here for 'refuge' then bleed our system dry and basically steal from our pockets without giving anything back??

Im gonna start a website up...

I want £100m from Iraq
£100m from China
£100m from Bulgaria
£100m from Russia
and £500m from the continent of Africa!

All to be paid in full by 12pm GMT or im gonna phone the police!

Laughable, absolute farce of an organisation. This would get thrown out of court in a heartbeat.

This the biggest joke of all, how is this going to happen? It never will and never could. Any money would line the founders of the organisations pockets.

Bunch of f'uckwits , some points may have a degree of merit but in the main its a case of people with an anti british stance raking through history searching for anything that will fit their anti-british agenda.In many cases when the facts don't fit they are not averse to just lying instead. As one respondent points out (letters in the news section) contrary to their claims, Britain did not in fact invent the machine gun and concentration camps .

Our history is indeed littered with c'ockups and despicable actions, what nation can claim to have a history without blemish ? Do I give a toss that we subjugated half of africa, the Indian sub continent and chunks of south east asia ? Not at all. The african nations I have been to have all slipped backwards since we left them to their own devices. Many africans who are old enough to remember the colonial days wish that we Brits were still running their countries (show me one truly democratic post colonial african country). On my trips to India and Burma the same sentiment has been expressed to me by rich and poor alike .

I don't think the article is a wind up PeeWee , it's just a load of cobblers.

My legal claim is on its way.

Not only did those damn Brits steal all the oil from Ireland, they stole all evidence that there ever had been oil in Ireland, I reckon I am due £100m.

I have my lawyer Lionel Hutz looking into it and am sure I'll be rich soon.
