Perhaps countless links to hardcore porn sites spread all over the forum don't bother you, I wish we all had the "anything goes" attitude that you apparently posses Dawsino . Maybe that will change when you have a family to consider .

Spamming and general wind ups are one thing . Links to hardcore porn sites however are a No No .

I think you've got some nerve to have a dig a people who are complaining about such things .

leon will be gutted that he he's not even been considered.

peewee claims that he doesn't really want to become a mod but to be honest he is a logical choice. i'd recommend sabre aswell.

The immediate problem seems to be the Night Shift , PeeWee although not asking for it , has said he'd do the job . As you say St Mick , it's a "logical choice"

The links to the porn sites are the things that need to be nipped in the bud, i also have kids (they are too young to consider coming on here yet) but for a kid to even have the chance to do so on here is worrying.
I understand its obviously some sort of personal vendetta and that the moderators have other jobs and there own lives but like woof has said it needs sorting.

Peewee is on at the times when the other mods cant be and it would surely make a huge difference to take him on board.

Dawson, you only have yourself to look out for (well as far as i am aware) so it doesnt gall you as much to see these links, but if you did have even a young nephew or neice that logged on here and clicked on one of these links i am sure you would be as angry, upset and worried as most of us.

Thats a bit of a half a'sed way of looking at it mate, its like saying there are sick people in the street so dont go out.

If there are preventions to stop this stuff happening then they need to be sorted.

I have read what SS said though and am happy with that.

When my kids go on the pc they only go on sites that i check first and i keep my eye on them, before this week if my 8 nearly 9 year old waned to go on this site i would probably be fine about it, now deffo not.
Dawson i dont really mind a bit of swearing mate, my kids will hear that in the school play ground, but hardcore porn sites ??
Whoever is doing it needs a good f'ckin hiding.

swearing shouldn't offend anyone, there's far worse in your average primary school playground than you'll ever see on here

the porn has to stop though - there's kids come on here, there's people who log on at work could get the sack and i bet every one of those porno links is riddled with viruses and all sorts of sh*t

surely there is a way to get the ip of the porn merchant and report him to his isp? or am i being a bit naive?

peewee for mod? maybe but only if there's somebody charged specifically with the task of moderating peewee's modding
