THE TAKEOVER THREAD - LIVERPOOL SOLD

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby redmikey » Tue Feb 06, 2007 2:37 pm

i am not a negitve type of fan but i have a terrible feeling about this as these yanks are investment bankers who have seen the tv money coming and can see dollar signs

the dic are all about winning and prestige,as well as money and real estate,

how much debt will be balanced against the club like the pedos that bought the scum have done?

if they call it soccer all the time i might have to consider following the darts more :(

So the deal is done.I would personally like to thank Mr.Moores, and indeed his family
for all he has done for our club.He has backed managers with cash and support throughout his time at the helm. This takeover would never have happened if he had more money. He realised we couldnt compete with Chelsea and United without investment, and for the good of the club decided to sell. From the bottom of my heart I thank you.

I would just like to add if you have Fu.ked this one up I will never forgive you. :D
You don't appreciate a lot of stuff in school until you get older.

that gillett is coming across really well if you ask me. he speaks really well and obviously has a lot of experience at dealing with the media.

parry didn't look to happy when he mentioned possibly selling the naming rights to the stadium though.
