That cunt Ged Poynton (or whatever his name is) who made us take down the anti-mckenzie and hillsborough banners in the kop at the Fulham game made the decision that we couldn't play the game tomorrow instead because the police need 10 days notice.

The police were already 'booked' in as it were. The players were already here, the fans were already here and the officials were already here. Sounds simple enough to play the game tomorrow to me.

It avoids a fixture pile-up aswell. The smi finals are supposed to be played on the 10th Jan, when are we going to fit this in?

Liverpool FC would like to advise supporters of the ticketing arrangements for the rearranged Carling Cup quarter final clash with Arsenal.
No new date has yet been set for the match, but please take the following points on board:

Ticket holders who did not enter the stadium should retain their ticket as it will be valid for the rearranged fixture.

If the date for the new game is not suitable then return your ticket to the ticket office for a refund.

Ticket holders who entered the stadium should retain their ticket stub and contact the ticket office as soon as the new date is announced either for a replacement ticket or a full refund.

We will be talking to Arsenal FC tomorrow about ticketing arrangements for any of their supporters who entered the stadium.

Arsenal fans who didn't enter the stadium can use their ticket for the new date or contact Arsenal FC for a refund.

-----------

Just aswell I kept hold of my ticket :D

Its a right pisserrrrr. But hey got to feel sorry for these gunner fans who left this morning to travel up. Then get to within an hour or so of the game for it to be called off.

I know if i had travelled down there and it happened to me i would be well peeed off.

But i agree they should have made a statement straight away and played it tomorrow night. It would have made sense.

Once again its a shambles!!!!!!!!!!!
