Fantastic result! 4-0 at the JJB, we did win our first away win in style!  :D

Bellamy was outstanding, the defenders could not cope with his pace! his first goal was quite a finish! the 3rd goal was a really nice team play, watch how Gerrard went from giving a pass to garcia then recieving 50 yards ahead! Bellamy, unselfishly gives it to Kuyt who does not make a mistake!

I thought we were really fortunate with some of the chances that Wigan had! if it wasn't for Reina and luck it would have been 4-3  :D

but great performance from the mighty reds! now lets keep our winning streak!

Reina made 2 very crucial saves, good to seem him back to his best, now he just need to be more consistent.

Excellent result.

Good performance. I loved Kuyt's goal. Very unselfish of Bellamy.

Hopefully it will build momentum. We are pretty much joint third place now.

Just reached home from my birthday celebration. The night was complicated. Don't ask :D I knew at some point of the night that we beat 0-4 Wigan and I asked another beer in celebration.

I must sleep now. WHen I wake up I'll watch the 10 mins of the Pompey game I still haven't seen and this match. Come on reds!

What a hangover

great result, the first half we were dangerous on every single counter attack, they were close to scoring a couple of times but it was our day, all the frustration was taken out in that game just look at Bellamy's reaction to his first goal.....we looked like one of those "top" teams who can crush the "smaller" teams in their own home...

good result, pennant was excellent, kuht good, Gerrard was excellent and Agger was brilliant, Reina did very well and was glad to see Palleta getting a run out. however I wouldnt get too carried away yet, Wigan had a few decent chancess and cut us open a few times (heskeys miss and Reinas saves coming to mind) I think the difference was Bellamy, he looked very sharp and very quick against a very dodgy static back 4) (he was marked by Matt Jackson a 35 year old who got taken off at half time) Because of Wigans attitude of not defending too deep and going at Liverpool it meant Bellamy had space to run. He was called offside 3 or 4 times and replays showed he wasnt offside at all. The way Bellamy plays off the shoulder of the defender with a back four as static as wigans he had a field day against them.  Granted you have to beat what is put in front of you and Liverpool did just that but lets not forget that Wigan were very very average and shocking at the back.......That game was a step forward not a leap....long way to yet, and it would be interesting to see us play and be able to break down teams who get behind the ball and defend as deep as teams like Portsmouth did at Anfield during the week.....

The 0-4 was great.

But the best thing is to hear how the Kop Away outsings the away crowds!!! I had the "chicken-skin" when I heard the fields of Anfield Road from moment one!

I needed to hear that as much as the win, because in the game against Pompey Anfield was too quiet.
