Im just gonna see who think we can still win the league.

With chelsea after losing today and arsenal too ,do u think we can still do it and win our first ever premiership title.

Next week will be our last "hard" away game of the season. After that every game we play we will be favourites. We just need to stop dropping silly points against teams like Blackburn and Sheffield United. We will always have a chance.

I will never say we wont win the league until it becomes impossible but this weekend, Man u have a game against blackburn which they will most likely win, which will then open the gap up to 14 points between us and them. On Sunday its asking a lot of us to beat Arsenal at their place. On the other hand, Man u might lose, Chelsea might lose and then we beat Arsenal, 8 points behind looks a lot better than 13/14

If,s buts and maybe's.

Lets not get into this discussion again. Rafa has said he won't look at the league until Febuary and I think we should follow his example. We have had a terrible start and a lot of people wrote us off after the United game. I didn't and won't, but I prefer people not to notice us. I want Liverpool to go about doing there business quietly and efficently and when we get to Febuary, then look at the league and see if we can grab it.

Rafa has been very unfairly slated in the press, and it wil be sweet irony, if come the back end of the season, that our squad will be firing on all cylinders due to our squad rotation and Chelski and Utd are gasping for air.

Don't write us off, but please don't talk us up. Till Febuary anyways.

Course we can win it but we need to take points off the top teams like Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal, the Spurs result was good for us today but Man U just keep winning :(

if we can sort out our away form we have a chance, but only a chance...we have to go on a run now and show everyone where for real...next week's game with arsenal means everything a massive test for us...

i think rafa knows now that the rotation system is not the answer...
if dirt kuyt keeps doing the buisness ang stevie gerrard gets back to his best our chances will rise dramatically...  watch this space...

Anything is possible.  Win the league? absolutely.

I've noticed that the players are now fighting and scraping for every ball (something we were lacking IMO) and beating the opposition to it.  If we can continue in this manner, then we will go all the way.

This forum is f**ked up!

A few losses and there's people saying were not as good as we think we are, the new players are :censored: and Gerrard's not interested.

A few wins and were going to win the league!

:D

It's a prime example of the modern day fan. I think we can win the league providing we play well, take our chances and are able to beat the top three when they come to Anfield. We need to be consistant, hopefully Rafa has his mind made up about our best defence and lets take one game at a time.

My thoughts exactly.

I didn’t think we would win the league 2 months ago and I don’t think we will win it now.

I thought we would be in the top 4 comfortably 2 months ago, 1 month ago and I still do.

It's odd what a difference one defeat can make to your outlook.

As things are:
Man U        28 pts
Chelsea      25
Bolton        20
Portsmouth 19
Arsenal      18
.....
Liverpool     17

IF we'd beaten Man U...

Man U        25
Chelsea      25
Liverpool     20
Bolton        20
Portsmouth 19
Arsenal      18

It just goes to show that a couple of results going the other way for us would actually make it look like a great start to the season.

I don't think we'll win the Prem this year. We've left ourselves too much to do already, and our away form just isn't there right now. I still think Man U will drop a lot of points this season, and as today has shown, all the big teams are susceptible to defeats. It's going to be an interesting table come the end of the season. :)
