Luis Garcia? Maybe he is worth a risk? Certainly as a substitute. However I wouldn't pick Fowler, Zenden or Pennant for this game.

.....................................Reina..................................

Finnan................Carragher................Hyypia...........Aurelio

Gerrard.............Sissoko...............Alonso...............Gonzalez

......................Kuyt.................Bellamy/Crouch.................

He is the :censored: of a referee who failed to give a penalty for us against Chelsea 2 seasons ago at Anfield (the game we lost 1-0 from a Joe Cole fluke).

Riley, Poll and Bennet are all abizmul referees!

i hope that Rafa will use 2 strikers and not only one
We won't lose this time and i think that this game will be the real starting of LFC season

We should go:

                      Reina

Finnan   Carragher   Hyypia   Warnock

Gerrard    Alonso     Sissoko   Aureillo

              Bellamy    Crouch

The big question is whether Agger should start ahead of Hyypia and what front to we should pick, I would either have Crouch and Bellmay or Crouch and Garcia.

Kuyt, Fowler, Gonzalez, Pennant and Agger can play on Wednesday against Newcastle.

I would like to see rafa put out a team like this:

                      Renia

Finnan       Carra        Hyypia/Agger    Aureilo

                    Alonso

            Gerrard      Sissoko

Pennant                                 Bellamy

                 Crouch/ Kuyt

But its probably not the best time to be exprimenting

I'm not looking forward to this match, in all honesty.

We aren't playing well, and you want to face the scutters when you're inform.

I'd probably go with a team like this:

                                       Reina

           Finnan             JC              Sami/Agger       Aurelio

                              Alonso
                                               Sissoko
   Gerrard                                                                 Garcia

                            Crouch
                                              Kuyt.

Bring Bellamy and Gonzalez on when their defense is shattered

I've picked Alonso because he's still fantasti, even if he's not on top form.

I've picked Luis because he seems to enjoy scoring against Sh*tski, and long may that continue. Even though it'd expose Aurelio a bit, it just means Sissoko and ALonso will have to track out wide a bit more.

I really can't see past a draw at best, though. :(

I hope I am wrong but I have a nagging feeling we will go with Crouch up on his own with Garcia just behind him.

I think we all agree that we need to avoid defeat her and I would go with

                                 Reina

     Finnan       Carra            Agger/Hyypia      Aurelio

     Pennant       SG              Momo              Bellamy

                    Kuyt              Crouch

Aurelio can be naturally attacking so this will push Bellamy into a more forward role. I think if we go at them , we can rattle them and as Rafa-Dodd pointed out its about time we got some points against Maureen in the league

Bellamy out on the wing might be worth experementing with actually. Pennant in my opinion is not good enough at the moment to play against the the top teams, especially away, so thats why I think, as much as I hate to say this but Gerrard to play on the wing with Momo and Alonso in the centre of midfield.

I'd start Bellamy & Kuyt again personally, Terry knows all about Crouch and it's about time we had a bit of pace upfront in our league games with these bastards. They don't know much about Kuyt especially, think this could be time for his first goal for us.

2-1 Red men.

I dread to think what it will be like on here if we lose to the Chavs come Sunday.

I can just see it now.

Leon will make a sarcastic post and everyone will take it the wrong way

Lakes10 will be asking for the manager to be sacked.

And Bigmick will start a thread entitled "the title challenge: I know it's early but..."

:D
