If you are the manager, will you consider letting probably the best and certainly the most energetic midfield player in Europe go to you rival?

I would rather keep the player than topping up the club's bank balance but money is money and £50M is a lot of them!

Not rumor but just some food for thought.

Who would replace him. IMO he is currently the best midfielder in the world and his work rate and desire is second to none, so he's ireplaceable.

Do we really need the money!!!!

The latest report from Thailand seems to suggest the deal is in trouble. Yes I think Gerrard is the best midfielder at the monent and I don't think he is replaceable. But then again we do need to strengthen half the squad this off season.

I'd rather sell the Mrs on the street to raise money than sell Gerrard. Then again, how far will £3.52 get us.

It won't be easy to put yourself in position of whether you're capable in selling stevie or not since you're not the manager who has responsibilities for the use of huge of other people's money.

As myself who has nothing to do with money, i will surely defend stevie from being stolen by any club for any tag of price

But if i was one of the authorities and having a chance to grab 50M, you'll never know what to decide.

Football club, after all, is all about money.
Money to satisfy every related parties, where the shareholders go to the first priority.

Its all a laugh. Like ckay, i would rather sell the misses than get rid of stevie, if he goes, then we are ultimately a selling club, shanks would be turning in his grave
