Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

i suggested a while back that george boateng was available on a free this summer. i'm only suggesting this as a short term deal as he's 29. i can't remember for the life of me if he signed a new deal at boro though.

it's a hard one though. there's certainly a genuine lack of top class "holding midfielders" around at the moment that we could genuinely afford.

I can only conclude that the person who suggested such a move has never ever seen the Argentinian play. There must also be the distinct possibility that they have never seen the German play either but that's for another day.

If you think Bav's bad Mick for sayin get Aimar to replace Didi,  Khahraz reckons we should be getting 30 million for Didi

Why cant we sell hamann for that price? if shevchenko is the best at what he does for his age what about didi?

isn't yaya toure a defensive midfielder?
he'd be a good buy, only 23/23.

I'm pretty sure that Rafa wouldn't even be considering letting Hamann go if he didn't have a replacement lined up.  Rafa is no gambler when it comes to defensive aspects of the team and he's no idiot--he's seen how much Didi has contributed in the last 2 seasons, even in a limited role.  If he's letting Didi seek pastures new, there's a firm replacement on the hook, methinks.

Joey Barton? Hes young and wouldnt cost much especialy if we could do a p/x with Hamann. He would probably want more games than he would get at Liverpool tho'.

If we dont start building on last season with some serious buys well fall back again like we did after we finished 2nd in the 2000/2001 season.

Yanno what, i hope we fuckin do fall back so fans like you will fuck off. You're not only clueless, you're a glory hunting bellend.

All you ever go on about is this club having money and needing money and should be signing Aimar for 5million to replace Hamann. You're a tool lad. You don't know what you're talkin about.

Are people always this aggressive on here?

I thought this was a friendly forum.

George Boateng would be a good signing for free. He seems to hold boro together and they usually don't win when he doesn't play.

Joey Barton? Hes young and wouldnt cost much especialy if we could do a p/x with Hamann. He would probably want more games than he would get at Liverpool tho'.

--------------

Joey Barton is a liability off the field. He would cause massive problems in the locker room. He is also not really a defensive midfielder. He plays in more of a roaming attacking role in midfield.

on another note, I heard that his brother murdered someone with a chainsaw. I was like  :help  this boys fuucked
