I thinks its becasue the threads are generally shite now and there are too many idiots joining who know nothing. I go on RAWK loads more than here now because its not full of idiots and the shite posts are locked immediately, unlike here where they roll on forever. Just look at my villa atmosphere thread, shudda been locked ages ago as its just a slagging match. In short, stricter control over threads, and stricter control over who joins the forum.

If only it were that simple kid. You should try doing our job. We're essentially in a no win situation in that whatever we do, somebody will still find something to complain about.

Locking topics is not the answer unless there has been a few good pages of decent debate and the thread has naturally run its course. If you simply locked duplicate threads, there would be loads on the page, and the good threads would be on page 2 etc... meaning more duplicates, a vicious circle.

I too have a gander at RAWK but its not the promised land that some people make it out to be. This is a friendlier site (although I have never joined or posted on Rawk)
Rawk also tends to have loads of people just agreein with each other on how clever they are

On the other hand topics are maintained and spammers are not tolerated there

But their general chat is almost non existant

Depends what you like but I prefer this one although the arguments can be tedious

For the record I like Roberts but he has his faults as we all do.

Also the moderators have a hard job but one of them has taken time out to design banners for people but they are all KLINKS anyway

And 3. RAWKs full of feckin know it alls, you say one word out of line your post gets deleted and everyone starts to argue with ya, and if people think there are kleeks on here over there is 10 times worse, theres about 1000 in the kleek

so let's sum it up, regulars not posting here much nowadays because:
1. roberts
2. it's only the end of the season
3. newbies (like me)
4. mods doing a sh1t job by not quickly locking disliked thread
5. vacancies
6. just not in the mood

other probabilities
1. people getting very excited to go to cardiff and who give it a :censored:

to this forum
2. they start to have fingers injury
3. they need to check their health to eyes specialist
4. somebody stole my computer
5. need a break from the unbelievably internet bill
6. need to get a life instead of being an internet inhabitants
7. need to check whether their genes getting some disorder resulted from monitor radiation
8. need to recover your ars3 from getting thin
....

with everything going on fine at the club,there are no big issues apart from cisse and the debate has been whether he is good enuff for pool and it this has somewhat gone stale.
Croch on the other hand has been accepted and on morrientes there is a general consensus that he should go.
The board also does not have controversial people who argue alot of nonsense or fans of other clubs who post here... they could provide alternate entertainment(or did before they were banned?) for the regulars.
But i think its cool the way its is now
