I've heard the phrase "Real Fan" being blurted out by a few people in some of the topics I've been reading & what I would like to know is What's a real fan? It just puzzles me that's all as I thought every fan was a so called "real fan" or is it just a swipe at other posters who do not share the same view as yourself on a particular issue?
It amazes me that there could be two types of fans "fake" 'n' "real". If that's the case then surely the fans (like myself who rarely go to Anfield) are what you would call "fake" supporters 'n' those who go to Anfield every match or most matches are what you would call "Real" fans as they are helping support the club by giving them match revenue therefore every single penny of thiers goes into the club, unlike when you purchase merchandise from say JJB Sports or Footlocker.
Maybe I'm generalising far too much 'n' maybe this issue doesn't have much relevance but I'm just a bit confused as to why people (not just our fans) brand other ppl as "fake supporters".

if u do go to the match as longs as u support the team u love. unless u are chelsea
