Brilliant, I was thinking exactly the same thing  :D

Seriously, this topic should be renamed 'Luis Garcia - trickster and ball waster - and scorer of significant goals!!!' Despite what you say about his output throughout a game, he always comes up trumps.

If we have been taught anything by our inability to put teams away over the past couple of months it is that it doesn't matter how well you play, it's how many goals you score that counts. Garcia may be frustrating and but he does score important goals.

If as suspected Rafa is using some of the tactics and formations he employed at Valencia to such great effect then the signing of Crouch mirrors his choice of Carew at Valencia and I suspect he bought Garcia as his version of Aimar but the analogy must surely stop there as he is nowhere near the class and guile of Aimar.

What he is though is a useful player to have in your squad who plays in a variety of positions and scores some key goals. There is room for improvement however and he's still relatively young................

Just read this morning that Liverpool have won every game (20) in which Garcia has scored. Not a bad contribution...

I think Garcia has improved a lot this season and we've missed him when he hasn't played :(

I actually think to this point Paul he has been a touch disappointing this season. I think he'a an absolutely fantastic footballer who has the capabilities to be a real hero at Anfield (I've said a couple of times I think he could be Rafa's best signing) and I was hoping he'd go on from last season. Hopefully he can finish strong and rekindle the CL glory from last season.

I know what your saying Mick, I meant in terms of getting to grips with the premiership and the physical side of things, it's a pitty he got injured recently, I do think that we look very 2D in attack when he's not playing, good job Kewell is playing well otherwise it would be even work  :)

Yes yes ok ok. Apart from when we play against teams which start with the letter B we always win when Luis scores. FFS some people are soooo picky.  :D

Hey feck of Mike!!! :D  He's got 2 in 3 for Norwich and my bet is he'll score like there's no tomorrow for them, comfortably surpassing the record of his illustrious but ultimately overrated predecessor.

Seriously, I do believe that given the chance he'll repeat what he did for West Brom last season, namely scoring consistently in the Prem. Whatever anyway, feck off anyhow :D
