Liverpool Football Club can confirm that Robbie Fowler will wear the Number 11 shirt on his return to the club he first joined as an 11-year-old.
The Toxteth-born striker previously wore the No.23 shirt when he first broke through to the first team before taking over the No.9 shirt for the rest of his stay at the club.

If anyone is thinking of getting a Fowler shirt, please get it with a 9 not 11. 9 will always be his true number so lets not change that.

Its very Gary Mc Robbie coming back just a complete buzz for the fans the players, Im just really over the moon the lads been a broken man since he left and will play for us for practicly nothing just a total Legend even if he will be just a Super Sub.
And imagine we go to Paris in May and win and he gets a Champions League medal :buttrock

Broke my heart when he left thats why him coming back makes it more special.

He won't be a supersub. He'll play more than he's on the bench if Rafa has any sense. Infact i'd start the lad against Birmingham. It will give EVERYONE a lift, create a fantastic atmosphere and we could end up steam rolling them. If we do that the chances of him scoring...

Could you imagine that? Infront of the kop in his first game back...
