ledzep1,I have to correct on your statement about Ray Kennedy.Thankfully the great man hasn't died of leukemia, much to his and I'm sure his family and friends relief.
He actually attended a celebration gala dinner in Liverpool on September 29th,to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first British club to retain the European Cup.
Many of the stars of the Wembley victory over Bruges in 1978 were their, amongst the 500 people who attended.Ray Kennedy recieved the warmest reception, after he he was driven down from his home in the north-east by his son Dale for the reunion.
"Razor" has spent the last 18 years battling Parkinson's disease. His ex room-mate and one of his best pals Jimmy Case was there.Last year Jimmy Case drove from Southampton to the North East to collect Ray for the 1977 European Cup celebratory dinner and then took him home the next day.
