So who are the other 4 of your top 10 English strikers then?
I'm just curious.

You see my point though - Fowler isn't as far away from the England reckoning as people think he is.
stu_the_red wrote:Wayne Rooney
Michael Owen
Dean Ashton
Jermaine Defoe
Robbie Fowler
Chris Sutton
Peter Crouch
Darren Bent.
In that order. And the only reason Fowler is fifth and not third is down to a lack of fitness and sharpness at not having played regularly over the last two years. Last season in the second half of the season he looked good and scored goals in a number of games. He's recovered from injury now and looks to be continuing in the same vein of form. No doubt though after his recent 4 goals in two games, two goals of the highest quality that players like Baros, Crouch and Cisse can only dream of scoring, he'll find himself on the bench again, but that doesn't matter, his confidence and form won't be effected because he's simply not upto it anymore, because Norwich and Millwall can't afford his wages.
