Pro Evolution in its various forms is the classiest football simulation ever! Trouble is it is far superiour in the playability but lags behind fifa on leagues etc so, if you can put up with cr#p gameplay, fifa has a longer lifespan. Hopefully Pro Evolution 3 will come up trumps and put fifa down where it belongs
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

When you get the ball, I want you to beat a couple of men and smash the ball into the net, just the same way you used to at Bury," said Shankly. Lindsay replied: "But Boss that wasn't me, it was Bobby Kerr." Shankly turned to Bob Paisley and said: "Christ Bob, we've signed the wrong player."

Championship Manger, throughout the years has always had quality scouts and in most cases the stats they had for players were about accurate. I learnt of Henry being potent while he was still at Monaco from this game, as well as Rober Pires, Saviola and to a lesser extent Robbie Keane(they had him rated and playing as well as st Mike, which obvously didn't occur).

Wenger must have played this game at one point.

Champ Man is the best MANAGEMENT game out there by far. Nothing can touch it.
Interviewer:       'Would it be fair to describe you as a volatile player?'
David Beckham: 'Well, I can play in the centre on the right and occasionally on the left side.' (Man U)

FIFA 2004 IS NOT ANYWHERE NEAR PES FOR GAMEPLAY, BUT IT IS EXCELLENT IF U SUPPORT DARLINGTON OR ANY LOWER LEAGUE TEAMS!!

FIFA 2003 GAMEPLAY WITH 2004 OPTIONS WUD BE A GOOD MIX

BUT NEITHER OF THEM EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE GAMEPLAY OF PRO EVO!!!

Pro Evolution Soccer 3 is the bees knees. You can sign up a young player and develop their skills by playing them. If you then release them, they go back to being what they were to start with. This means you can keep trying until they are awesome players! The transfer system is ok but perhaps too infrequent. The leagues are better but still no domestic leagues. There are nearly enough British teams to make one league and I guess you could use the announced names "Birmingham" and "City" to create two more British teams at least. I have to agree it is very slow and can take as long as 20 minutes a game over the course of a season on a 10 minute game length. It is very addictive though.

Probably the most annoying thing is the names and all this licensing nonsense. You can change them but there aren't announcable names for everyone so you get a lot of "number 9", "number 6" etc. Sort it out Konami, you are ripping of your loyal customers who pay top price for a game. The money raked in from sales surely justifies Konami paying to get all the proper names. I still wouldn't go back to FIFA though
