I dont think there need be that many changes to the current squad. Kenco there said "new team new manager" we cant have a whole new team.
The current squad looks like this :
KIRKLAND
HYYPIA HENCHOZ
FINNAN RIISE
GERRARD HAMANN
DIOUF KEWELL
OWEN BAROS
THAT DOESNT REALLY LOOK LIKE A BAD TEAM THOSE IT NOW ?
A good new manager would greatly improve that team.
This would be realistically and hopefull the squad for next year :
KIRKLAND
HYYPIA MEXES
FINNAN RIISE
GERRARD PARKER
DIOUF KEWELL
OWEN CISSE
Subs : Dudek,Henchoz,Hamann,Baros,LeTellec.
I really dont see a need for a new left-back or right wing because Riise is good enough and Diouf is improving every game so changes in these positions arent urgent.
A good new striker is necessary whether its cisse or somebody else.
It would be great if we could get Parker (if his p#ssed off with lack of games and games out of position) or another creative + attacking central midfielder. Altough Hamann is a good player (whom I greatly admire) so changes in this position also arent urgent.
But changes in centre back are very necessary and a new c.defender has to come in whether its mexes or somebody else.
Also some people think we need a new keeper but I dont agree with this as Kirkland is class but is injured all the time and Dudek is great cover.
A new manager is the first priority at the moment.
(Martin O'Neill).
I think if O'Neill was our manager we could get far with our current squad.
